This is fantastic. Shows you which player from each franchise has the all-time winning percentage. A couple players hold it for a multiple teams. The HCP would have NEVER guessed who is our leader. Curious if anybody on here chose correctly. Check it.
I found the teams with super low percentages more interesting than the players they were. How do you have your all-time win % player be in the low to mid 50's?
Im not incredibly surprised. The Lakers and Boston have 33 championships. I believe theres 12 teams without 1. Not just is the gap between good and bad really wide, there are a lot of teams who have maybe only had a couple “good playoff runs” in their entire existence.
I wonder if this is based on games they actually played in or just the seasons they were on the team. I bet it's the latter and not the former, otherwise Carlos Rogers would be like 4-1 as a Blazer, and Brian Shaw would be 1-0. btw, that 1 loss that Carlos played in? OOOOOh shit was that a bad loss. It should count as 4 or 5 of them.
I thought maybe there was a minimum games played mark otherwise I'm sure most teams would have a 10-Day contract guy who went 1-0. Edit: Danny Young played 3 seasons for the Blazers in which the team won 65.4% of the games but it says 66.1 on there so it must be in games they actually played.
Yeah but almost every team has at least one season better than their winning % leader. Unless there was a minimum amount of games or seasons played you would think there would have to be one player that only played for that team that one season.
