I'd say the Grizzlies or Nuggets, most likely go with the Nuggets. They've gone from a team with the worst record to a contender to make the playoffs in the WEST. That isn't something that can be done very easily, and both the Griz and Nugs have had great turn around seasons. As for the biggest flop of the season, you gotta hand that to the Suns. They went from looking like a team with a bright future to a top 5 lottery pick team, even before the Marbury trade.
I am going with the Nuggets. The Grizzlies have been on the up and up for a few years, and they have some talent there. The Nuggets were a terrible team, and with a bunch of good GM moves, they are a young, talented team. Carmelo is the building block for them, and they surround him with an unselfish PG, a dirty low post player in Nene, and a talented big man who can score, rebound and block shots in Marcus Camby. There bench is very good with Boykins, Rodney White, Chris Anderson, and Barry. Voshon is having a great year at the 2 guard spot, and he is a good deep threat. You have to give it to someone in the West. The West is so tough, and for a team to be a laughing joke, to a playoff team in one year is great.
Weren't the Rockets the worst team in the league before Yao? And now they're kicking butt, and looks like they are going to be in the playoffs. But.. I'd still say the Grizzlies, simply because Jerry West is a basketball god. Look at the Grizzlies salaries in comparison to the Nuggets.. Alot of 1 year deals by the Nuggers, but the Grizzlies have almost their entire team locked up for a few more seasons. James Posey is the most underrated free agent signing in a long time!
Cavaliers, Nuggets, Bucks, Grizzlies, and Heat. Rookies, bust out players, free agents, new coaches..these GM's have done a lot to make these teams a hell of a lot better than last season.
the nuggets definately, half of there starters last year arnt even in the L any more and the nuggets are only gonna get better its all due to all the player moves and carmelo
