With the Blazers eliminated, which team(s) would you be least upset with winning the championship? I think I could get behind IT winning a ring after the tragedy of losing his sister. I don't really care one way or another about the Wizards so I guess I'd be fine seeing them win it as well. I feel more strongly about who I don't want to win. I don't want GSW/HOU/LAC/SA/CLE to win, in that order from least favorite (GSW).
I agree with your sentiment of who I don't want to win, and I agree with your list, and the sequence of your list.
I'd be on board with that. LBJ is definitely the better player and that would go a long way towards putting that debate to rest.
I voted Jazz just because it would be cool for Jerry Sloan to win a championship in his lifetime and they're in our division....2nd would be Raptors...I wouldn't choose any team that's got a championship to get another other than the Blazers.....
Utah is definitely the team from the west that I would prefer win, but I think I'd still go for any east team over them sans CLE. However realistically if the finals were CLE vs UTA then I could see myself maybe pulling for CLE.
Cavs- Yes. Raps- Fuck Canada Boston- Boston people are annoying. Rockets- Rockets fans are unbearable. Wizards- eh, don't care either way. Spurs- Eh, Alridge getting a ring would suck Warriors- Fuck Kevin Durant. Fucking Snake Jazz- hated them from the 90s Bulls- meh Clippers- I'd like this so Laker fans shit their pants Hawks- they don't have fans
If Boston gets bounced in the first round if would be fairly easy for them to go after Fultz and give up on IT, but if they make it to the finals, or win it all, then that throws a wrench into their situation. Will be interesting to see how that plays out.
I just don't want the Warriors to win..and I think the only man standing in their way is LeBron. So I'm all aboard the Cavs bandwagon. You guys realize its gonna be Cavs/Warriors again right?
I want the cavs to win. Cause if random teams start winning, it will make our eventual championship less sweet.
Not sure who I WANT to win, but I have a real strong feeling the Spurs are going to pull it out. The right mix of a shutdown defender that can matchup on Harden/KD or 'Bron.... A solid low post threat to throw it down to when the games slow down. And vets that have been there. I really think the Spurs beat the Cavs in the finals. Don't know how much of a stretch that is considering how well they played this year, but I'm going with them.
I think it's a pretty bold pick, considering how far behind the Warriors they were in net rating and how they struggled against the Grizzlies in the first round. I do think the Spurs are the second-best team in the NBA, though, so I guess from that perspective, it wouldn't be shocking. Popovich is on the short list for greatest NBA coach ever and if Kerr isn't back with the Warriors by the conference finals, that could be a big edge for the Spurs.
no one from the west. so that leaves the cavs. it stings less cause im already disappointed they won last year. and id prefer not boston just cause their fans are spoiled as fuck.
