sorry you can't face the truth. but thanks for letting me know, it really hurts that you're doing so!
Well, I don't know how to put somebody on ignore, but I would have thought you would have learned from your last meltdown. The worst part is that you won't even educate yourself on the facts in this instance and what being under the cap could mean this summer in terms of a trade. You are being ridicuous.
Sure. For the reported deals, I think I would have done it. IMO, KP probably thought too highly, ran out of time and locked him out of a bunch of deals through his inflated ego and self-awareness.
We've had this on the table for an entire half a season, a deal could have been made. KP dropped the ball on this one by not being able to utilize valuable assets. What we're left is that we're competing on a FA market in which there is a lot of uncertainty...its much more difficult to asess what and who is available. By all indications, Wallace and Butler may have been readily available....who'll be available this summer? Who knows.
You don't know which of the reported deals were legit, or how accurate they were. And you're making assumptions on KP's thought process. I guess it's easier for me to trust he did the right thing because I think he's done a great job of turning the team around, and you apparently don't.
My point exactly. You are pissed we didn't trade for guys when you don't even know if they were available.

how do we know the targets we want will be available this summer? we don't. That's why cap space is a crap shoot.
Don't let the facts get in the way of another meltdown. The delicate combo of ignorance and rage is pretty entertaining.
That argument only makes sense if KP said to himself, "I don't want to pull the trigger on this deal, because I think we can sign a better FA in the summer." I have no way of knowing if he thought that or not. And neither do you. Which means your argument only make sense in make-believe land.
Well, that's the position that most in the "pro-no trade" are taking. I just don't think that we'll be a major player in Free Agency....we'll get a mid-tier NBA player to help off the bench.
Butler? Well, if you'll believe any rumour you hear on the internetz, you should have mentioned how Granger was available free for Pritchard. After all, Quick mentioned him. KP could have had Granger for nothing and purposely didn't pull the trigger. Dropped the ball.
Why can't you get it into your head that being up to $13 million under that cap doesn't mean that only FA options will be available? Seriously. Answer the question and quit dodging it.
On second thought, I don't want to ignore you because, like last time, I know that my opinion will be correct while yours will again look idiotic. Now that is capital!
well, Pritchard should have just shut his phone off until the offseason...maybe trip to hawaii. He tried to make deals, he failed to make it happen.
Your response to my argument is that I am taking the position of the side that disagrees with you? How profound. What I would like to know is, how is it wrong?
13 million under the cap if we renounce 3 players without retribution? No thanks. I'm not willing to just jettison Blake, Outlaw and Frye for nothing just to get further under the cap for a move that no one really knows what we're going to do.
