I was thinking Utah, but figured we might not want to trade within the division. Not sure if that really matters though.

Gortat is much better and Gobert is on another level. They don't need expensive backups either.

Indiana is my call. He'd fit in well next to Myles. Or even better, Pelicans. Davis will compensate for his lack of defense.

There is a guy by the name of Lamarcus Aldridge. But then again he wasn't an RFA. What I worry about is Plumlee getting a poison deal just as crabbe did and maybe his numbers declining after he gets paid. I guess we see what kind of player Plumlee is after he gets paid but he is gonna get fucking paid

Plumlee will probably get $15M from someone. I don't think he will get in excess of $20M at all.

To drop Crabbe or Turner, they would have to be considered good enough to be the third best player somewhere because $17M to $20M is what you pay to your third option when the cap is at ca. $105M. There are a few teams where they could be that but those teams may as well prefer someone else.

Yeah LMA does not count because we had no control. I am talking RFA's.

Plums getting a poison deal is a worry though, but the money won't affect his production. Nor has it affected Crabbes. The guy's 3pt % is better this year than it has ever been. (Just under 44%)

not sure why you yhink that as the cap is only projected to increase
yep, good pt, and after next yrs most recent estimate at 102 mil (from current 92-94 mil estimate for this yr) the cap is only expected to rise 1 mil the following year

That is still significant rise from 2014, which is barely over 2 years ago and is what most fans are used to:

"Jul 8, 2015 - AD. NEW YORK — The National Basketball Association today announced that the Salary Cap has increased by 11% to an all-time high of $70 million for the 2015-16 season. The tax level for the 2015-16 season increased by 10.3% to $84.740 million."

it certainly has affected crabbe. Just because his 3 point percentage is great doesn't mean he is doing his part. He is extremely inconsistent this year in terms of aggressiveness and ppg. Percentages are one thing, production is another

His PPG are also up. He was inconsistent last year as well. Most guys coming off the bench are. I doubt it has to due to his contract.

Meyers Leonard is not a better athlete than Plumlee.

Bro, the Plumlees jump outta the gym. Mason included. He's faster, more agile, and moves WAY better laterally than Beiber.

I hear what you're saying.....but according to all the 40 times, bench press and other stats that measure athleticism, the experts say he is more "athletic". As far as applying your god given talents, Mase definitely has used what he's got better.

I think the myth that Leonard and Pat are crazy athletes needs to be stopped.

If Myers is such athletic why doesn't he show it on the court.
