I made no such leap of bad logic.

I didn't say 14,000 people bused themselves in to Boston. Enough did to get arrested 30+ times.

Seems like you're being duped (and repeating talking points) because you are denying the obvious truth.

I guess I watch too much TV. What I saw were lots of communist party and socialist party signs in the crowd.

As much as we need to be vigilant about the country not turning Fascist, we need to be just as vigilant about not becoming Communist.

I don't agree with his logic. But I think he's making a point by taking the bad logic of those who want to remove the statues to the extreme. And that is a valid logic method.

The danger in all this mob rule is that groups like the communist party usa will be silenced.

I side with the ACLU. Sometimes you have to hold your nose and uphold civil rights even if it means Nazis can march (with permits even). If you allow peoples' civil rights to be taken away, there's nothing stopping ANYONE's from being taken away at some point.

That's the merit of the Orwell quote.

when have you ever seen their candidate in a presidential debate? ......yep....never...I'm not against any whack job organization having their rally....if the Nazis and KKK had just rallied in Charlottesville.....I'd have paid little attention to them....when they show up armed with weapons, torches and run people down with cars.....I pay attention when they chant gas the jews....that is why Boston happened....the nature of the rally....and I expect a president to address political murder immediately with heartfelt compassion....instead of one drawing lines in the sand and considering over half of America, his enemy

    Speaking of propaganda.

    http://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/334897-poll-majority-says-mainstream-media-publishes-fake-news

Poll: Majority says mainstream media publishes fake news

Nearly two-thirds of Americans say the mainstream press is full of fake news, a sentiment that is held by a majority of voters across the ideological spectrum.

According to data from the latest Harvard-Harris poll, which was provided exclusively to The Hill, 65 percent of voters believe there is a lot of fake news in the mainstream media.

That number includes 80 percent of Republicans, 60 percent of independents and 53 percent of Democrats. Eighty-four percent of voters said it is hard to know what news to believe online.

“Much of the media is now just another part of the partisan divide in the country with Republicans not trusting the ‘mainstream’ media and Democrats seeing them as reflecting their beliefs,” said Harvard-Harris co-director Mark Penn. “Every major institution from the presidency to the courts is now seen as operating in a partisan fashion in one direction or the other.”
Mark Penn worked for the Clintons, he's not some right wing ideologue.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_Penn

Together with Doug Schoen, he was co-founder of the polling firm Penn, Schoen and Berland Associates.,[2] whose clients included political and business leaders such as U.S. PresidentBill Clinton, British Prime Minister Tony Blair, and Bill Gates. Penn later served as chief strategist and pollster to Hillary Clinton in her unsuccessful campaign for the democratic nomination for the 2008 presidential election.[3]

If the left wingers didn't show up, the whole event would have barely made the news.

    That's an indisputable fact.

those college students and actually most of those folks were locals....they live there, and being anti racist is hardly being a left winger....or shouldn't be at least. I support their right to protest the rally as well. Not one KKK member or Nazi died either....a young community member did though.

I have no problem with people exercising their 1st amendment right.

You're still denying that enough of the violent left did show up, and even are denying these bad people exist.

Watch out he videos on YouTube and see who are throwing punches and worse.

I condemn them all. I call for the death penalty for the guy who killed the woman.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
You call other people fascists and then make the most fascist statement anyone here ever has, saying "Hey, if the side I disagree with would just stay home and not exercise their freedom of expression, there wouldn't be a problem and no one would get run over by cars."

If he said that it would be wrong. Luckily he didn't.

You don't think throwing rocks and cement and urine and feces at people while brandishing clubs is just "freedom of expression" do you?
