Boys in general were a pain, but there were a couple black boys that just thought they could get away with anything. Perhaps black mothers can get their children to behave, but it seems like they try to get away with anything they can with everybody else.

I did what I wanted outside the house, but when it came to being inside the home it was a different story. Whenever she wanted me to clean up the room or take out the trash I did it, no questions asked.
One thing that I think is a major problem in regards to the desire to do well in school is affirmative action. I'm not completely against affirmative action, but it's applied way to heavily. If an asian or a jew applies to Cal with a 3.5 GPA he'll get laughed at by the admissions people. If a black kid applies to Cal with a 3.5 GPA they'll throw him a ticker tape parade and a full scholarship. The problem with this is that because kids who aren't qualified to be in the university get in, half of the 33% of 20-21 year old blacks in college will not finish college, due to the fact that according to the ACT benchlines only 11% of black kids are prepared for college math and only 38% of black kids are prepared for college english when they begin. You know affirmative action is being over applied when less than ten percent of kids from a certain demographic are prepared for college classes and 35% get in.Speaking of awful teachers, don't even get me started on affirmative action in the teaching world.
Most black people have a fake laugh.. something I just noticed. If you don't eat at a black person's house, their whole family will probably hang you. By the way, I agree with what SGuard said about the white people look at black people when they're taking a piss. It's weird as hell.. it's like they're thinking "Man I wish I could have a package like that..".

In Texas, there is a top 10% rule. If you are in the top 10% of your class in high school, you can automatically go to any public school in Texas. The problem with this is that highly intelligent people at good schools can get denied from these schools, while stupid (or at least, not intelligent enough) people from bad schools can get accepted. The ridiculous part to me is that most of those that are in poor schools are going to last anyway. A lot of these guys have SATs in the 1000s. I feel bad that they have had a disadvantage in schooling, but you can't deny better students from going to these schools while you let "less-advantaged" people in. It's just silly.
I'm just going to bring up some racial issues. - I hate it when white radio/sports announcers and media people interview a black athlete, and when they are done say, 'wow, what a well educated, bright kid.' Just because he's not a bumbling idiot they think he's smart. It's completely racist and I hear it all the time. "Wow, Jamal didn't stutter, forget words or talk like a dumb ni*** so he sounds like a good kid, wow thats great." - I think it's hilarious how white people act so careful around black people, not to offend them, but they always keep their distance if they can when waiting at a restaurant or at a store. - When I take credit cards at work from black people I always make sure to touch their hand when I take things from them, so they know I'm not racist, I know that sounds wierd but I always do it.
