On the subject on the whole fatherhood thing, one of the big reasons for african americans not being fathers after they knock up a woman is because there are more teenage pregnancies among African Americans, and obviously the father is more likely to leave due to a teenage pregnancy. These teen pregnancies are probably due to the christian religion which is often anti-birth control, as well as lack of adequate sex ed to tell students that a girl using no constraceptives whatsoever has an 80% chance of getting pregnant. I think men of any race will leave if they knock a girl up at 16, there are just more girls knocked up at 13-17 in black society for the previously mentioned reasons.
