I do know that you'd be hard pressed to find a group of people, separated by skin-color, who put up with anything like American slavery for 300 years, and then got told their free to get they ass whooped, lynched, imprisoned... And when exactly did black people squirm from under the nasty thumb of oppression in this country? I know you're a history guy. Was it anti-lynching laws? Affirmative Action? Reagan signing MLK's birthday into law? Clinton going out of his way to federally prosecute the officers that beat up Rodney King? If it's a legal thing, alot of legal things countered them as soon as they were signed into law.Cats is talking out of both sides of they mouths on this issue.</div>Oh yeah, you're right. I gotcha. Well have at it, genius. Take a crack at interpreting this, and let Justice do the same thing, or type "lol" whenever you call me Al Sharpton. Please tell me in detail, how I misinterpreted this post:<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>I'm not defending myself, because as I thought I clearly stated before, I have no reason to do so. Is he accusing noballer of pointing the finger at black fathers? Why isn't he agreeing with him if that's the case?If I missed something, enlighten me and I'll push on. <u>My</u> mind is open to my own fallibility. Also, Justice still hasn't answered a rather tame question I asked by comparison. Does he really believe that black people are somehow the children of whites?
Ya'll talk a lot of popular TV mess on Sharpton, but he'd whoop your ass. You couldn't carry his perm kit. He's been batting a low percentage lately, eager to get on TV. But in the eighties, people were still shooting over this issue in New York, and he was in the middle of it. Whole communities yelling "nigger" at protesters. A Jewish cat got shot in the Crown Height Riots and another incident where he said some inflammatory words. Brawley, that Duke LaCrosse case. He makes mistakes, yes.But he gets a few right too.

Man, I'm just seeking clarity on one statement. You can call questions stupid, or flame me or whatever, but please address it. Tragically, The Pestilence has attempted to defend that "stop blaming their parents" outburst with more energy than you have and you wrote it.

I called it stupid. It's not tragic that he talked more about it than I did, but it is rather tragic that you can't understand why I'm being so damn sarcastic. I guess.
