Kind of weird too, that he referenced a song (a really good song, btw) where everyone in it got assassinated.
He use to claim he was a one issue voter (abortion) and now he claims he will vote against Biden. What's funny, his one issue is still the same as it was 3.5 years ago, Obviously his one issue was more excuse than reason.
I’m for just calling people by there names or that person. Let’s get away from using white man, black man. If we can drop singling races out and just refer to each other as individuals maybe we can bridge some gaps.
I agree HG, although there are some exceptions in my book as describing a person that might be involved in something it doesn't help authorities if you describe him just as a guy or gal in their 20's when the person can be described as Asian, white, or black narrows it down and eliminates some possibilities. Say there was a hit and run and I witnessed it and saw the driver and it was a white guy, I would tell the police that it was a white male in his 20's.
Good points, I guess I never thought it completely through about those kind of situations. I guess I was referring to when we interact with other people and general discussions. Just anything to help bring about more equality.
One thing that bugs me around where I live is that, sometimes, people talk about situations and say something like, "Yeah, I was at the store and a woman, a Black woman, came up to me and asked me about such and such......." in an entirely innocuous situation, but as if the color of their skin had anything to do with it/anything. Some folks are just ignorant of the whole situation, but, whatever....
Pick one of the many Republicans who are against abortion and aren't racist, xenophobic and fascist. There's at least a few.
ABM, long before it became clear Biden would be the nominee, said he was supporting Trump in order to force women to bear children against our will. When challenged acknowledged the lying, corruption, incompetence, but forcing himself on women took precedence. Unlike the god emperor I do have a long memory.
