Rice would never allow herself to be linked to a racist like Romney, and has said as much.

Plus, she'd lose more white republicans (gobs) than she would bring black democrats (none).

I know I said Paul Ryan in the first post, but Bobby Jindal is a very close second for me. That guy is unbelievably smart.

I'd have respect for Romney if he went with John Huntsman. That's probably my ideal VP candidate. And to be honest, it wouldn't shock me if Romney went that direction. He'd piss off a lot of people on the right, but at this point Romney is trying to capture some of the middle and this is one way to do it.

I just realized you'd have an all-mormon ticket. That probably wouldn't fly with the electorate.

For Obama, I wouldn't be upset if he dumped Biden and went with Hillary. It'd set her up as the favorite for 2016. But I'd love it if he went with Bernie Sanders. It'd never happen though.

Yeah, I'd forgotten all about Huntsman. He's a bit smarmy for my tastes, but I would respect that pick. All-Mormon ticket though? I can just imagine the conspiracy theories.

Hey, how about Herman Cain as VP? Rick Perry? Michele Bachmann? Ron Paul? Rick Santorum?

Romney himself is the most qualified republican to run as VP.

He's got no chance to be President, he'll say anything he's told to say, he's got the hair, the smile, and nobody expects him to actually accomplish anything.

    Bobby Jindal.

I'm biased having lived in New Orleans for a while and being friends with members of his team, but biases aside, Louisiana is an extremely corrupt state politically, and compared to his constituents, Jindal has always held the moral high ground, which says a lot given the state's history of corruption.

New Orleans has no higher ground, hence the perpetual flooding.

Yet another post from a lefty talking about racism.

When that's all you have left in the quiver, well...

BTW - here is Romney's racist dad marching for Civil Rights. What a racist!!

What have you done for racial equality? Actually, what have any of the white dudes here slinging around the race card done in real terms for racial equality?

"I know a black guy" doesn't count, honkies.

Don't confuse a politician for a civil rights activist.

Rice will not get picked because she is pro-choice. End of discussion.
