I don't think you can do that in the middle of the season. And he'll definitely wanna test the market
It wouldn't be in the middle of free agency. It would be at the trade deadline, so the Thunder most certainly can sign him and then trade him as far as I know. However, You are right in that unless the team really meets everything Durant wants, He will probably want to test free agency and wont do a sign and trade type deal.
right. forgot about that too. We need to keep in mind, the player needs to fit in with NO's plan to build around Dame.
After this last offseason, I am open to any talented baller with a low contract and a pulse. I ain't picky!
Korver is 34 years old, Miller is a couple years older. Both have similar skillsets, Korver has better knees and is expensive...also was a no show in the playoffs for the Hawks last season
we don't need or want either one of them, one was acquired in a trade and will likely be released or traded, Korver is for a win now team and that ain't us, this year is for developing YOUNG guys who need minutes to develop, wasted time talking about a guy like Korver
33%, but shot 46% the year before. Doesn't matter. Miller is not part of the future and any minutes he plays now takes away from the development of others who may be part of the future.
Exactly and Korver was horrible in the playoffs as I said..we've got Miller if we want an old guy who can shoot..I don't want either guy..Mike Miller is a smart player, he's just not able to run for long anymore
Korver is so much better than Miller. But you guys are also missing where I said we'd get him as part of a Horford trade if they wanted to blow it up
I mentioned Horford early on in this post but Korver is on the wrong side of 30 and to me, a waste of a roster spot. End of Korver's next deal and he'll be Mike Miller
