Dennis Kucinic is the only person I would support. the rest of em are just going to compromise and flip-flop around.

I guess you don't realize but race is a very sensitive issue (sometimes even overly so) with black people in America, probably more than any other race. I don't understand why it seems to bother you so much though. (you spell Barack with one r btw)

Black-on-black crime is a big thing in this country. Notice how Jordan's family, Serena Williams family, Bill Cosby's family all have been targeted, as well as ALL the rap artists who people try to jack - stuff that basically never happens to rich or famous whites... what i got from that piece was Obama really impressed me cause he was confident yet humble. He also talked about "if I lose" - this was brave to even say those words.
All the candidates for this election seem relatively decent. Thinking about being forced to vote for John Kerry or George Bush in the last election makes me quiver in my sleep. Anyways this is my hope for this election: It actually comes down to issues. I'm so tired of hearing dumb crap from a persons distant past come up and ruin their chances of election. People spend all their time concentrating on this stupid crap, meanwhile the "conservative" republican is running up a record debt and getting into wars while changing his justification along the way. People need to stop voting on someone's media image and start looking at what they are actually going to do for the country.
Obama's speech was awesome, right now he's the canidate I like most. I'm just afraid he won't have the support or experience necessary to accomplish anything in 4 years. Hillary Clinton was very convincing saying if she was elected the war in Iraq would end. She didn't elaborate on how, but that's what I like seeing in a canidate. I like definitive goals. It's going to be tough for Obama to compete with her, I was hoping they'd run together. Hillary has A LOT of money to spend on her campaigning, and generally the person with the biggest war chest wins.

Whereas Hilary Clinton approved the Iraq Resolution authorizing the war, Kucinich led the charge in the House of Representatives in challenging the Bush administration’s “march towards war” in 2002, organizing as many 125 Democratic votes against the war. He's also pushing for universal, not-for-profit health care, which I'm a strong supporter of, and he's for the decriminalization of marijuana, an issue which I feel is too frequently overlooked. The "War on Drugs" is too taxing on our economy and is overall pointless. If Kucinich is elected, he'll effectively end it. I also agree with his 12-step plan on how to withdraw our troops and maintain a peaceful relationship with Iraq. It's got some minor flaws, but it's the best one I've seen to date. You've also got to love the fact that the guy's behind programs for environmental renewal. The way that some of the other candidates have balked at environmental issues is pathetic. To me, environmental issues are just as important as any other issues. So needless to say, Kucinich has my full support at this point. Kucinich in '08!
