Simple question. Who do you want to meet in the playoffs? Spurs or Warriors? For me, I'd absolutely LOVE to beat the Spurs and LMA in the playoffs. Sure, I still have a few sour grapes still - but that makes it an even better reason to play & beat the Spurs. It's unlikely that we beat either one, but give me a shot at the Spurs.
Meet and beat the Warriors in the first round. Meet and beat the Clippers in the second round. Meet and beat the LaMarsha Spurs in the WCF Meet and beat the ECF champion. Meet and beat the shit out of Trump at the white house.
Who would I like to meet in the playoffs? I'm not picky. I've narrowed my answer down to these 8 team: Boston Cleveland Washington Atlanta Toronto Milwaukee Miami Indiana
We might win a game vs SA. Break out the brooms vs GS. Let's see if we make the playoffs first. That Minny/Utah/Minny/Utah/SA stretch is brutal.
I think we have a more realistic shot at beating SAS, but I sure would love to see Nurk destroy the Warriors.
I'm surprised that most of us are in concensus on this. Guess we ought to root for SAS tonight when they play
As an 8th seed, do we really have a choice? typical public perception of an 8th seed What # 1 or 2 seeds think of themselves
Both are tough. Beating Lamarsha and the Spurs would be a dream come true. If we keep playing like this, NOBODY will want to play us in the first round.
I'll pick SA because knocking LMA out in the first round would be so pleasing and I think we have a 20% chance of that happening. GS on the other hand is a lower % but man Nurkic vs Green would be FUN to watch. One of them is going to EMBARRASS the other and they both will definitely be suspended at least 1 game.
You want the Spurs. San Antonio jumped out to a 15-0 lead at home and was up 20 in the first quarter. Now it's the 4th quarter and Golden St is up by 9.....all without Durant. Portland is playing much better than they were (with the addition of Nurkic) but that is a long way from where the Warriors are playing even short-handed. Tomorrow night against the Rockets will be a solid test but that is still not at the Warriors level.
