I've never heard of a 7th-8th grader playing for a H.S team, but whatever.

It's not like your in high school playing for the 7th grade team... I enjoyed doing it, gave me some experience.
It's so common here, whats wrong with you people..hahaDo you have 7th or 8th grade feeder programs for your HS?
Man, it must be so different down south. It's unheard of here. You can't play for the school team if you don't go there. What in the world is a "feeder" program?

Yeah, we have that for swimming, like they are called the Jr. Vikings. But they can't play with highschoolers. Just 7th/8th graders.

That sounds pretty sweet. We don't even have middle school baseball teams. I don't understand. We are one of the richest districts in the state, yet we can't do baseball?
bball and golf in high schoolabsolutely love golf, set our high school team record for 9-holes in a match with a -3 under 33 on 9 holes. in college now, I still play pick up basketball, but mostly just do work and drink beer :beerchug:
I play:Basketball: For my school. I'm a pretty good player. I'm kind of like an in-between star and role player. I sometimes start and sometimes am the 6th man. It's very hard to explain how I play to people but it's a little like Dennis Rodman mixed with Shane Batier mixed with Raja Bell mixed with Andrei Kierelinko mixed with Brevin Knight. That's how I play for my school team (which is STACKED with talent). Now in pickup games and one-on-one I turn into a flashy player. I can post anyone up and hit any post shot and make many moves. You can't stope me (I'm not being cocky at all)Soccer: I'm a hustler. Man, I run 4 times harder than anyone else. I don't have the most skills but I make up for that with passion and hustle. I'm just blessed with a little natural ability but I'm able to play hard and play on the same level as more talented people. I'm kind of a role player in soccer.

Around here, really the south I mean, highschool sports are taken very seriously, so there might be more rules....in Memphis and the suburbs, you cant even coach a team at all unless you teach at the school.....

I play little league from April-June, Travel from June-August, Fall from August-October, and then I do hitting camps, clinics, home hitting off tee, throwing into net, etc. in the winter.
Enjoy it while it lasts..from personal experience baseball wasn't fun anymore after little leagueThe sports I like to play are Basketball and FootballI still play baseball but I enjoy it less now and don't commit myself as much to it
Football - I've been playing for like what, 3 seasons now? In 7th grade I was CB/WR but then I decided I wanted to hit alot more. So the next season, I had to gain some weight to play MLB/TE. To bad this season I only played 2 games because I injured my back badly.
Basketball - my main sport - I play it any chance I get. I never really tried to play it organized, just tons of inter mural and tons of pick up games that go for hours. I get into tourneys once in a while. Football - Always play this with all my friends in tournament fashion in the Summer/spring/fall - as long as its some what play-able weather, we play. I love playing football. I do everything - recieving, defense, w/e.Soccer - Played it highschool freshman year and hated it.Hockey - Is fun - but not my thing. Bowling - is the sh*t - I play this once in a while with my friends. I'm not that good - my average is about 150ish - its all for the fun.

I'll NEVER lose interest in baseball. I can never stop playing it.
