    Cool what games to go with COD?

    I struggled at first with making the jump as the 360 was my primary console for most of last gen. Microsoft lost me at E3 with all the changes they were trying to force on us. But I will admit that familiarity and friends I already had on list made me think twice with jumping ship.

    I am jealous you guys get Titanfall for consoles though.

    Manager mode is basically just like "Franchise Mode" in the Madden games right? Where you run player signings, lineups, etc and then play each game right? If so thats the one I normally do as Timbers just cause I love the team and players obviously.

    FUT is a fun change of pace if you are looking to basically play Fantasy Soccer. But doesnt have the same appeal as a club I care for.

    Sticking with PC for now. Going to be a while before dev's even figure out how to get the most out of the new systems.

    So long as games like Evolve come out on PC I'm not going to buy a new console.

    Yes and Sony already says it will still be free on PSN but it wont be the full game with less cars and less tracks. It will only be half the game.

    I don't have a PS4 (yet) but that is what I will have this xmas or next. Personally I am not sure why anyone would choose the Xbox One over the PS4 unless you are huge Kinetic fans.

    Positives of the PS4 seem to far outweigh the positives of the Xbox One when doing my research.

    Friends List is a huge part. I play a lot of video games with my cousin, and like 2 friends. The rest of my list was casual friends, who I would only occasionally play with, so we were good with Sony switch.

    If you are big on achievements, that could be hard to walk away from. I'm not a big achievement whore, but I do admit it felt kinda weird to walk away from 5 years of work on a gamerscore.

    I'd also give the nod to Xbox if using it to watch tv and all that extra jazz appeals to you. But 90% of the games are gonna be on both systems, so for me it came down to me being interested Sony exclusives (Uncharted, Infamous, Sly, Ratchet, God of War, Ni No Kuni type games) vs Microsoft exclusives of Gears of War, Fable, Halo, and Forza. Titanfall hurt I admit, but I can wait for the 2nd one on both systems

    I've gotten NBA 2k14, Madden 25, Dead Rising 3 and Assassins Creed 4. Dead Rising 3 was ok, the biggest draw for me was just killing the hordes of zombies in the game and it definitely fulfills that. Story is pretty meh and the open world is honestly a little to big. I liked the smaller worlds of Dead Rising 1 & 2. I'm going to pick up Forza 5 next. Titanfall looks like it will be really fun, I signed up for the beta yesterday. Sunset Overdrive and Project Spark also look to be really good. For those who don't know Sunset Overdrive is made by the same people behind Ratchet and Clank and Project spark looks to be a build anything type of thing. Like Little Big Planet but with way more depth and ability to make different types of games.

    The TV & entertainment stuff was a big deal for me. I have a one year old at home so it's super convenient to be able to snap in Sprout or Netflix some kids show so I can keep messing with my leagues on NBA or Madden. It's also fun to have the blazers game snapped to the side while I play something. Makes it really easy to play during the commercial breaks or halftime.

    Fable is the only Xbox game i think i'm still interested in, and those come to the pc for the most part. I'm hoping it isn't just a kinect game now.

    I like the exclusives more on the xbox and the entertainment stuff is pretty cool. Dead Rising, Titanfall, Sunset Overdrive, Halo, Forza, Fable and Gears of War isn't bad for exclusives.

    it's not but Fable has definetly strayed from it's original premise which I am sad to see. I am still hopeful that they'll make a true continuation of the main series but news like this does worry me.

    yeah I totally get that. And I wouldnt be surprised if all Consoles try and go the same route next gen. I got to be a little selfish with no kids, and Console set up in our spare room so dont have to share that tv. Could be a big draw for many who cant be selfish :p
