They win, also look at this, when Michael Vick came the Falcons were the worst team in the NFL, before he's turned 25 he had already taken them to the conference championship. Another thing is, if you dont think he's valuable to the team, why dont you watch how they play when he's injured. Tm Brady inherited a team that was built by Parcells, and redone by Belicheck, he is a great qb but he's had amazing tools around him for winning. Considering what Vick has had to work with since he was drafted, he's done a lot. Any qb who takes a team from 1st overall pick to conference championship game is not overrated no matter what his stats look like.</div> What great tools did Brady have? David Givens and Antawan Smith?

Who gives a sh*t if he can throw 80 yards... if he can't hit a wideout in the numbers on a quick slant or just hit a WR for once his arm sucks.
How about this one. Who is overrated? David Carr. In the same sense as Tom Brady is underrated because he just has "it" that factor that wins games, David Carr does not. What has he done..EVER! Now what, "oh the Texans had a bad line" yeah, well the Patriots had a good line!!!Tom Brady is overrated. He's done well in a few games and he's inherited one of the best defenses, had his team built with 2 HOF coaches, played with a Pro Bowl WR, 2 good TEs and an okay RB.Fact is that those SB games shouldn't have been close if Brady had done well all game.

Tom Brady is a good qb, he can post numbers(he lead the league in yards this year) He is a great qb, probably top 20 alltime, but that's it. It just depends who your talking to, if we're saying hes the best ever, hes overrated, if we're saying hes a proven winner, hes neither underrated or overrated.
Because he cant throw the deepball I guess. People know that he has great leadership, but he doesnt have a great arm, and when his line isnt working he can have bad nights. Put him behind the Texans line and he would be screwed over.People are comparing him to Joe Montana. Thats overrating him.

As a QB, you really just have to sit back there and watch the machine work.
Mike Vick no doubt, has incredible athletic abilities but horrible throwing accuracy.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (nygiants4life @ May 27 2006, 09:59 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>How about this one. I would say he is unproven atthis point because he has not had a chance to play behind a solid line. But hen his line has stepped up he has shined, i feel he could surprise in the future if he actually gets a line.

Brady always makes the right plays when they count the most. That's a quality very few have. He might not put up mind blowing numbers like Peyton Manning but he has more rings then him despite an inferior offenseFind me another QB who could win with the supporting offensive cast that Brady has And every year, the Patriots have a huge loss that's supposed to drag them down but they still win. I hate the Pats and especially but I give credit when it's due and Brady deserves itBrady's not overrated. You don't win 3 rings based on defense
Mike Vick.. Wanna know why?Because people only credit him for his ability to run. They usually don't give him credit for his arm because he isn't much of a passing QB. If Mike Vick wasn't able to run as fast i know that he would be a backup QB to Matt Schuab.

He gets so much attention because of his amazing brother and father. Like BCB said, he completes like 55% of his passes, mainly because he has a great wide reciver core.</div>Exactly, the better Peyton gets, the more hype Eli gets. I don't like it and I didn't like Eli's attitude as soon as he came into the league.

The Kid's good, but not that good yet.
Why is he overrated? The first 12 games or so I thought he played really well. It is only his 2nd year, and it is obvious he will turn out to be a great QB in the League. He needs to be more consistent on his accuracy though, but he is good at throwing the 10 and in pass to say Shockey or someone.

Todd Light was out most of the year and they had a rookie filling in. They have a good group of scrappers but nobody on that offensive line is a household name. No QB wins superbowls without tons of help and probowlers. Do you discredic Peyton Manning because he has tons of talent on offense? I mean give me a break. You act as if any QB could walk into the Patriots situation and be a great player. Have you seen the way his team respects and trusts him? Have you seen the clutch plays and late game heroics? Did you see him lead the league in passing yards this season with average talent at WR? Asante Samuel is hardly a pro-bowl up and comer, he's a #3 or #4 cornerback on most teams but was forced to play because of injuries. Sit and watch the machine work? Give me a break this is a weak argument.
I think Tom Brady's excellent, although he's not Montana. Yet.Eli is a bit overhyped but he's getting there. And that scares me as a Cowboys fan. But their team might peak before he hits his stride, so that's good.Peyton... um, no. He only got better last year with his willingness to run, and he's unquestionably the smartest QB in the game. Not to mention the best QB. He hasn't won one yet, but then again, no one said Dan Marino was overrated, either.Vick... definitely. Although he might break out this year, I dunno.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (kingjamez @ May 17 2006, 03:51 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Vick. He could'nt hit a open wide receiver 10 feet away. He sucks cock. He runs the ball and he acts like Walter Peyton jukin and sh*t, and everyone hypes him up to be like the duel threat QB. Then he gets tackled and hes hurt, or he bruised his pinkie or some gay sh*t. Im sick of him, Matt Shaub has better leadership and better skills than Vick. Vick does have the tools to be the best QB ever. Really that is true. But he hasn't even come near his potential. His accuracy sucks, he is a baby on the field. For the past 3 years I've heard he's adjusted to the West Coast offense, thats bull sh*t. He looks worse every year. No reason to believe this year is going to be any different. And you cant even fu*kin understand him when he talks.</div>Uhh yea dude the past 3 years? You need to get the stats right he missed mosed of 3 years ago witha broken leg and when he came back they finished 4-1 from a 1-10 start and the season after that he led them to the nfc championship. So the guy had an off year and he couldn't get them to the playoffs not everybody has a perfect year. It doesnt matter if he only passes for 165 yards a game and 12 for 27 if they can win off of that its all that matters. Stats are nothing except numbers in the game. The only thing that matters is the score when the 4th quarter expires and he has done a fair job of delivering the victorys to the falcons the past few years.
That is what i was trying to say earlier, just because he doesn't pass and fill up stat sheets, doesn't mean a whole lot. The Falcons win-loss record with him on the field, compared to him on the sidelines is what should show how much Vick is not overrated.
