Here's a short statistical comparison: AI vs. PP 28.9 - 23.9 ppg 3.8 - 7.6 rpg 6.1 - 5.7 apg 2.9 - 1.56 spg I'd say that 5 points higher is quite enough to largely distinguish between two players. And having half as many rebounds has more to do with the half a foot height difference between them than with playing ability. So yes, I'd say that AI has a better shot of winning than does Paul Pierce.

More so with the way PP is lighting the league up right now.Getting that added scorer will only help his cause even more.
