Whats your point exactly? Robinson had trouble staying healthy most of the season.However He made it difficult for teams of defense and helped Duncan out to spead the floor which created better chances on offense.

 

Yea and that is a reason they will probably not do as good this season as last season...

That wasn't really part of the arguement I was making.It's hard to tell if that statement will come true or not.Too early..

We have had this arguement before, and I refuse to prove you wrong again biggrin2 but Wally was not as good as he was in previous year. He was also out for a lot of games and he played injuried for the majority of his games. Also Hudson did not really have the outputs he did until the Lakers series when he was told that he was need to shot more. You named 2 players that Garnett had. Duncan had players that fit into the skeem of play that had. He had specialized players that were put around him that worked with is style of play. Shooters like Steve Kerr, Bruce Bowen, Steph Jackson ect. They also had the emotional leader of David Robinson who the players loved to follow. They had a player who SLOWED (not stoped) Kobe Bryant. Yea the Wolves had a couple scorers, but they were one demisional. Now the script is fliped from last year... KG has the guys who can fill more than 1 role, offense, defense or otherwise.

This isnt about last years MVP... its this years through rougly 1/4 of the season.

Hudson isn't that good, Fisher is a horrible defender, as he is known to get torn up by PG's in the playoffs. Parker made a huge impact also in the playoffs, as well as the regular season. Bowen didn't "shoot so well because duncan was getting tripled", Duncan getting tripled has nothing to do with Bowen's shooting ability. He knocked them down, and sealed a lot of games for the Spurs. Don't forget about Stephen Jackson either, it was much easier for Duncan to kick out because he had shooters all over the floor. Spurs were a much better team, KG led the T-Wolves to the #4 seed, and split the season series with them. KG imo played better, put up better numbers.

Hopefully, this will be KG's year, he has a solid team to work with this year, with some scorers to help him out.

Hudson is a very good scorer when he is on..believe it or not he can light up more than just Fisher.I have seen him do it before.Bowen can't create his own shot at all..He needs open shots from Duncan to be effective and he was.Spurs were the better team because of Duncan..That was the difference.He could of won the title with what Wolves had I truely believe that.Better post game,better leader,better motivator.

If Wolves do better than Spurs this season it will come down to purely having better added players.Cassell,Spree,Kandi.Not that Garnett is better than Duncan.

It is truley amazing how bias you are when you claim how bias I am with Garnett (which I tend to be at times). But if the Wolves go deep in the playoffs its because... GARNETT FINALLY HAS A TEAM TO LEAD. As opposed to other teams in the past. You can believe what ya want but experts, people who study the game night in and night out said the cast around Tim Duncan was bulit perfectly around him. Yes they truley did revolve around him but its ludocris that you claim that the Spurs cast was worse than the Wolves cast, and that Duncan could win with them.

The supporting cast wasn't much different from each other.Duncan has always been known to improve his team-mates..Get them to play beyond their talents and to play great defense while working for each other.Me biased? not really no.I see both sides of any arguement and I don't re-call saying many times you were biased towards KG.Fact is if you add Spree or Cassell to the current Spurs team the title would stay in S.A.I know Laker fans will get offended by that statement.While even with Spree and Cassell added the Wolves will not win the title..getting to the 2nd round will be their goal.Which may not even happen.

Good statement. They would put up a good fight, but Cassell and Spree don't have the talent that the Lakers added. I'm going to get out of this, because my arguement wasn't on who's better. We could literally sit up all day and argue about that. I was arguing on the fact that it doesn't matter who's better, KG had a better season, put up a good fight vs the Lakers, and still led his team to the #4 seed in the West with less talent than the Spurs. I also think the T-Wolves should be better than what their record shows, have no idea what their doing at only 11-8. As far as the Spurs go, there nothing better than a East team right now, so if the T-Wolves get past the first round or not, if they KG keeps his play up he SHOULD be getting the MVP this season.

Right now KG is playing very well and is right up there in the MVP rankings so to speak.Last season people's opinions changed on who should get the award weekly..I'm dead serious at that.Many thought Chris Webber would get it. There was plenty of debates on many boards about that.Sadly for them it lasted a few weeks...So basically what I'm saying here is that people's views on the MVP contenders will change ALOT of the course of this season.It's just too hard to predict who will get it at this moment...March time is when it really starts getting interesting.

dude, Kobe misses too much, so your saying that Iverson sucks?? He has better fundamentals tha Kobe definitely, Kobe is a ballhog, AND iverson actually shares the ball, look at him when he has 30+ pt games look at how many Field Goal Attempts he had and ull understand me by the meaning of him being a ballhog, you know if the Lakers had ONLY Kobe, its like Iverson in Philly. Iverson shoots too much cause hes team depends on him, OR WHY DO U THINK he leads the league in Minutes Per Game

KG always plays well, but with that team, he must win more games. And about Duncan and the spurs, give them some time and games, and like last year, they will be up there in april.

Wow, great explanation. It's always good when you have one. But, I can give a reason why he shouldn't. His team is 10-10 and there are a bunch of other players playing better than him who are more deserving.

 

I have problems to explain my opinion properly in Spanish , so in English...

 

the wolves suck and are overrated, they have all these good players and still are barely over .500, so garnett is tough for MVP right now...shaq no, cuz u got kobe, payton, and malone...you take him out, u still have a very good team obviously; duncan has been hurt and his team is under .500, iverson is on a weak conference and they are like .500 and in first place, but if 76ers make playoffs atop their division, he could get it or be co-MVP... but right now, baron davis is the MVP, awesome player, team leader, a PG who can do everything and his team is winning and in first place...
