OK I'll let it go already. hehehe KG's cons? I really don't know. It's as if you can let it go because it's not that much. Like his 75.6% career FT shooting. It's pretty acceptable for a big man.
Garnett is by far the most well-rounded individual in the NBA (today). no one can put up the kinds of numbers he does game in and game out, and by implying that he shouldnt get MVP because he is putting up insane numbers but his team is 12-8 (still a good record) is purely stupid. its like saying alex rodriguez (baseball, in case you live in a cave) didnt deserve the AL mvp because his team was crap, even though he did all he could to IMPROVE HIS TEAM. to me, record shouldnt matter like people think it does today compared to wilt, KG isnt much.. but hell, who CAN be compared to wilt? garnett is probably the most comparable player to wilt right now, and if you ARE saying he is horrible i suggest you watch more t-wolves games, or at least sportcenter. wait for the bball highlights, you'll see him a lot

Garnett is good? I never knew. Before you assume such an asinine comment, make sure you do your background work.

He acknowledges Garnett as one of the best all the time.
Right now, Allen Iverson is arguably the MVP. He leads the league in minutes played, points per game, free throws, overall points, and some other categories I can't think of right now, but aside from personal statistics, it is because of AI that the Sixers are currently standing #1 in the conference, if it wasn't for him the Sixers would probably not even be in the top 5. AI does not have a very good supporting cast, but he still managed to pull his team to #1 and if anyone deserves the MVP award, it's him.
AI is the hardest working player in the NBA right now hands down. When your 6'1 and 165 lbs and your #1 in that many categories with no one on your team, you are MVP.
Judging by who is most valuable to their team, AI is the answer (pardon the pun ). I'd be curious to see how many games the Sixers could win without that guy. On most nights he single-handedly sets the pace of the game, and on his best nights, he blows everyone out of the water. He has tremendous impact on everything that happens while he is on the court. He draws fouls, gets points, and can play defense. Players like that are invaluable.
It's a tossup betwen KG and Baron at this point. But if the Nuggets finish the season at around 40 wins I think Carmelo Anthony has to at least be mentioned. They stank last year and he is the reason that they're balling this year. (No, I'm not impressed by Andre Miller OR by Nene's alleged improvement.) KG does have a weakness. With his size and length offensively he should be posting up and banging more instead of taking the top of the key jumpers.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting bling bling bli:</div><div class="quote_post">KG does have a weakness. i dont think AI will be the MVP this year...he plays like this everyyear but his team goes no where...it is going to be KG or Shaq
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting VAs Finest:</div><div class="quote_post">i dont think AI will be the MVP this year...he plays like this everyyear but his team goes no where...it is going to be KG or Shaq</div> He don't play like THIS every year. This is his real first year where hes willing to pass and now hes got G-Rob his stats will improve. Go to the sixers forum, check it out over there do some research.
AT 6' 11" he doesn't go into the post nearly enough and I don't blame that on the offense or on other players. It's him. Once he establishes himself as post-first presence (and I mean calling for the ball consistently, not just grabbing boards and getting put-back buckets) then he will truly be scary because he will truly be a player without a flaw. A defensive monster who can block shots, take people down low, hit the outside jumper, AND dribble the ball.
