But I think alot of that is also the fact that Tom Cruise is such a major figure. The media plops on him the like crazy, so when one sees a movie with him, they're really focusing on the fact it's a Tom Cruise movie. That can make it very hard for one to actually accept an actor is playing his character well.
I have to say Paul Walker too....its like hes just some random ass white dude thrown into situations....all I hear from his mouth is "bro, naw man, bro I was horrible in Fast and Furious AND Time Machine,bro"
