Not sure if you're joking or not, but remember: looks and results are two different things. Since he got to Golden State, he's shooting .314% from three and barely sniffing the Mendoza Line of the NBA at .409% FG. Not only does he shoot a poor percentage, he takes a ton of shots.... I guess they look good though.
Well of course. Since he shot 2-10 in previous game, he was bound to shoot much better. I expect another 3-12 in next game...
Baron Davis shot .426 and 33% from three for the Warriors last season and only .300% the season before from 3. On more shots than Crawford takes. The FG% doesn't tell anywhere near the whole story. Crawford isn't taking the right shots is all, and that's about the system.
Right. Do you know if Nelson wants a PG because he does not think Craw/Ellis/Marco can make it as a first rate PG? Moreover, how high does Nelson rate a PG in his strategic plans? I would think it would be the numero uno position to fill with his style of coaching. Second, how firm is his belief in Brandan Wright? Somehow I don't think Nelson has him in his long-term plans. Do you think Nelson wants to trade both Crawford and Ellis and keep Marco? Somehow, I don't get that impression at all. He has said he likes Crawford. I haven't got that feeling about him in regards to Ellis or Marco? As for what type of player in return he wants, I don't have a clue, but I would think he wants a PG. Finally, let me say Nelson is a horrible, horrible fantasy hoops coach. He is probably numero uno as the worst fantasy hoops coach. I hate him in that regards . As a coach, I don't have problems with Nelson, but he needs to be checked if he wants to make player personnel decisions. I don't trust him in that regards. I'll join you in prayer if the Warriors can do this and start making smarter decisions and formulate a good direction for the team.
I'm not sure what the point is here... like, since Baron Davis was a horrible shooter who ball-hogged every night, it's okay for Crawford to do it? You're not seriously blaming Crawford's bad shooting on the system? Really? In 9 seasons, guess what his career FG% average is... .404%. He has been this way his entire career: http://www.nba.com/playerfile/jamal_crawford/career_stats.html Damn! How about 2003-2004! The guy shots .386% from FG and .317% from three. Not only that, but he also ranks 3rd in the league in 3pt attempts, shooting 6.5 shots a game. On .317%. That's awful. Or was that Chicago's system?
Speaking of Crawford, did anyone notice Al Harrington had 39 pts. on 16-24 shooting and 13 rebounds last night? Oy.
48-34 .585 last season 16-34 .320 this season Seems like you need a horrible shooting ball hog to win.
