Yeah it will be Tomlinson, not a shadow of a doubt after his 4 touchdown performance. Eli and Shaun Alexander are also contenders
Ben Roethlisberger not even mentioned? Wow... it's like a website full of Phil Simms clones. That guy hates the Steelers. I think LT2 is the obvious, but I like Big Ben and Antonio Gates. I think Antonio is part of the reason LT is so successful. No team can stack 8 or 9 in the box.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (panthersare#1)</div><div class='quotemain'>whats the record for recieving yards in a year??</div> about 1850 i believe
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (panthersare#1)</div><div class='quotemain'>whats the record for recieving yards in a year??</div> 1848 by Jerry Rice in 1995. I know what you are thinking though. I hate to say it, but we will never see a WR win an MVP. Sad, but true.
I think it's going to come down to Tomlinson and Alexander. Alexander is still putting up huge numbers, even though the Seahawks are playing with their #3 and #4 starting wide receivers as their top guys. If San Diego wins their division, it will probably be Tomlinson. If the Seahawks win theirs and go to the NFC Championship game, I'd say it'll be Alexander.
shhhhh..... Tomlison has been sneaky this year. He's ahead of Priest Holmes pace to break the TD record this season of 27.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (porky88)</div><div class='quotemain'>shhhhh..... Tomlison has been sneaky this year. He's ahead of Priest Holmes pace to break the TD record this season of 27.</div> Alexander is on pace to break that record also
Tomlinson will be MVP Carson Palmer, Santana Moss, or Steve Smith will be comeback player of the year. Which in the past couple of years doesn't mean anything except one of two things. 1. Last season stats were crappy and this season stats are good. or 2. You had a good year but not a good enough to be MVP
Carson palmer wont get comeback player of the year, he hasnt been down in a bad situation yet so he is ineligble. Steve Smith broke his leg last year and was out for the season so i think if he doesnt get MVP he will get comeback player of the year
Steve Smith would have to avg 135 yards a game to beat Rice's record, it might happen but i would be happy even if he got to 1450 yards

Are you Monty Hall or what?
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Pack Attack)</div><div class='quotemain'>Mark Brunell or Drew Bledsoe will probably win comeback player of the year.</div> I disagree, when you have the best WR(steve Smith) in the game that is putting up monster numbers and he broke his leg last year and was out for the season, i think he will win comeback player of the year
Well for comeback, they usually pick a player that was kinda on the downslide or traded or lost their starting spot. but i would have no problem giving it to Smith, he is a class act this season
