Yeah, but the difference is we don't have actual dogs or cats posting here, but we do have trans women posting here, and you're doing it to make fun of someone for being a transwoman whereas Sly is being a dork.

So good job trying to rationalize your transphobic comment.

I kinda agree. It wasn't bad, but honestly I don't really feel like it was batman, in the sense that he didn't ruin Batman like Affleck did, and he didn't make Batman awesome like Bale did.

I also agree, BUT it could be kinda neat to see the Bond character from a different age. Like, seeing Bond as a young field agent (or whatever the term would be) and show him progress over the series of movies he's in.

Wasn't that supposedly what they did with Daniel Craig?

Yeah, that's the thing. To me it was the storytelling that I liked. Not so much Pattinson. So much of the comics and cartoons were about his investigative skills. I think Ras Al Gul used to call him "detective." It was a whole facet that all the other movies completely ignored. So to me, I really liked that part, and I also loved the dark comic feel to the movie.

They kinda did, but it went from young to old real quick.

I meant like maybe do a movie when he first starts off (kinda like the first kingsmen was eggsys first time as an agent).

Just repeating the same stories now is boring ESPECIALLY since most people who are now watching Bond movies (or the target audience they should go for) probably don't really know why we should care about spectre, etc.

He was actually cast as James Bond for Casino Royal, but then turned it down last minute because they weren't going to give him creative freedom with the character.

The role then went to Daniel Craig who they gave creative freedom to and he reinvented the character.

CBS is doing a Trues Lies TV show. Sorry though, no Arnold or Jamie Lee Curtis.

I don't know if he can do a British accent but Jon Hamm from Madmen has the chops to play Bond...he's got the dry humor and I think he'd be good in the role.

What if they cast a cat to be James Bond?

Like legitimately… Just totally messing with the James Bond franchise. It lasts one movie. But there is one movie made, and James Bond is a cat.

They don’t make it seem like the cat is talking, but rather it is mentioned often that Bond is quiet. Bond is heard meowing a few times in the film.

Would you pay to see it?
