You know, I almost want Trump to get reelected just to watch the complete and total meltdown that some will have. I will throw a huge rager. Your all invited. Except Calvin Natt. Calvin wont be invited, because he will be the prime subject of observation.
The chances of Trump being reelected are virtually zero. I'll bet my $1,000 to your $100. There, now them's some good odds for Trump lovers and some good folding money for me.
Oh i'm no trump lover and I fully feel he will lose, but the hate some spew is worse than the hate Trump spews and the blind hatred some have for anyone who doesn't hate Trump is sooo ridiculous, it makes me want to See Trump get reelected, just so I can watch these hateful people completely melt down. "I hate you..." "Why?" "Because you support Trump." "No I don't." "But you don't hate him." "Right, I don't hate anyone." "Your part of the problem. You dont hate Trump!!!" Its a very real sign of society going completely crazy red with hatred.
If you want to wreck the country in order to own the libs.... ...you may be a person incapable of rational prioritization. barfo
See that little word in that sentence yo seemed to skip that says almost? The incapability of rational prioritization is anyone who hates and uses that as their go to, to defend why they want something done. Sorry. You lose.
I saw what you wrote. So my comment wasn't aimed at you, obviously. You need to stop being such an egotist. Not everything is about you. Most things are about you, I'll admit. But not everything. barfo
You can't get more hateful than Trump. Oh, I suppose Hitler was pretty hateful and I can see where Jews might hate him in return. Could this analogy apply|?
Come on man. Trump isn't lining people up outside an incinerator. To say that,is letting one's hatred blind them to the reality that Trump is just a bad president. Hitler slaughtered or tried to eliminate races!!! So no your analogy doesn't apply, unless your already blinded by Trump hate, of which you have just proved my point.
Of course not, or I would have just quoted the posts. But this is by and large the common theme here. Its undeniable. Its the vibe of the forum. Have you read some of Calvin Natts posts? Illmatics? Your own? There is a common theme on this site that if you don't hate Trump your part of the problem.
Trump can't do that even if he wanted, due to the system we have in the US. Recent revelations that he told President Xi that he was doing the right thing putting Uighurs in concentration camps makes it extremely plausible that if Trump were a dictator who could do anything he wanted, he might do some pretty horrific things. I still wouldn't call him Hitler, but I think he's on that spectrum of "authoritarian, likely violent" tendencies.
meh. He is all hot air. That some people hang on all of his words as gospel cracks me up didnt he threaten martial law twice in the last couple weeks? howd that go? what people say and what they do are often very different things.
The problem is he can't do a lot of those things, he doesn't have the power--so we don't know if he's just "all talk and no action" or if he's "would do the action, but isn't able to." Let's remember, he tear gassed peaceful protestors in order to move them so he could do a photo op. He's not all "hot air."
So lets dissect the photo op. ( the bible and the church and lafayette park right? ) First, im by no means condoning any portion of anything. However is there evidence that Trump himself said, use gas? Or did he say clear the park and then the officers did what thye did? It may seem like symantics, but to me they are different. From what I know(which isnt much) he asked local law to clear path. Im not sure he said gas them to move? NO second, and Ill be suprised if anyone disagrees with me, but based on Trumps talk, Do you think he cares about if its right or legal or not and if he wants it done, he will try regardless? Im pretty sure most peopel feel as such. So if thats the case, what stopped him for trying to impose martial law? Or was it never going to be and it was just hot air?
Do you think if he wanted to round up black people and execute them in the Rose Garden, he'd be able to and then the courts would weigh in later? He can do things that are grey areas and let the courts decide later, but things that are flagrantly illegal, the people around wouldn't do. So no, he doesn't have ultimate power--he has the power to interpret existing laws, not make them up himself.
Well of course he wouldn't be able to complete it, but i'm thinking he might very well attempt to start trying if that's truly what he wanted. But I've heard many people say he just makes things up. SO why wouldn't he just make them up himself? People have already accused him of just this... possibly legitimately.
Again, he needs people to actually do the things. The machinery of government is not set up to allow one guy to kill whomever he wants or inter whomever he wants. He couldn't actually do "mad king" stuff even if he wanted to. I feel like we're getting a bit into the weeds here--I'm not saying he's literally Hitler, just prevented from putting people in ovens. What I am saying is that there are enough hints as to his personality that it wouldn't be shocking, IMO, that if he were the leader of a nation in which he could do whatever he wanted, he'd actually commit what we'd view as atrocities. I'm not saying he definitely would, just that I don't think, in that alternate universe, it would be huge shock.
