all ive been hearing for three years is "if grant hill this if grant hill that if grant hill comes back".....hes not coming back. hes past his prime. andyoure overestimating the impact of that trade. there are only four tems in the east that can be considered seriuos contenders Indy, detroit, boston and NJ and none of them is going to win a championship with the west as powerful as it is.....
East contenders meaning..a shot at the finals.Gooden is getting 13 and 5 and gircek 12 PPG..that helps them alot.Gooden has started really well for magic finally playing his natural spot on the floor. You have to be mad to think the magic don't get better with the trade..Grant hill is expecting to be back by the playoffs but they still have a good chance without him.
I'm with olskool on this one. Hill won't be back. He may never come back. And even a good trade can't make the Magic contenders for the East title. I disagree with olskool on who the contenders are. I have it narrowed down to Detroit, Indiana, and New Jersey, with Indiana being the consensus favorite. I think the Pistons will take it however.
Magic have the players to get to the finals..and one of the best in the league..that being tracy mcgrady. It is a toss up this year on who could make the finals in the east...magic will get to at least the 2nd round i feel.
Hill is done, he can barely walk. At the Duke game, some guy had to help him up. He will have fused ankles like Bill Walton. Hill hasn't played a full season in the last 2 years, why does everyone say he'll get traded? Maybe as an inspiration or a coach, he will never play for real every again.
