I believe the top 8 in the West is going to look something like this: 1. San Antonio (or Phoenix) 2. Phoenix (or San Antonio) 3. Seattle 4. Houston 5. Dallas 6. Los Angeles 7. Sacramento 8. Memphis NOTE: Bottom three could be very interchangeable. The three teams are only separated by 5.5 games total, and 5.5 games is fairly easy to make up with 32 or so games left in the season. I really feel the Lakers are going to turn it on in the second half of the season. And at this rate, it looks like Sacramento is going to continue to fall apart. They've been playing terrible as of late (4-8 in last 12) so I think them falling far is a possibility. However, that may seem like a stretch, but you never do know. I think the first couple games after the All Star Break is going to really show what will happen in the next part of the season. If the Kings don't come out strong and the Lakers or someone else does, I could see the Kings dropping down around the 6th or 7th spot and see the Lakers jump up to probbably no higher than 6th.
Twolves or Lakers? <div class="quote_poster">Quoting WCBallerz:</div><div class="quote_post">I say Portland will make the last spot. Lakers and Twolves won't make it. Memphis will drop out as well, Denver will be at #7 by season's end.</div> Portland and Denver have no leadership and no chance at the playoffs, the Lakers are Kobe and four stiffs, and I think KG and KM will get the Twolves back on track. As a Laker fan I am rooting for the Twolves, because the lottery would be the best thing for the Lakers, this team will not get out of the first round of the playoffs and will only be rebuilt through the draft.
