    Wallace.

But there are a lot of names on that list who could help this team exponentially, so I'd be happy with almost anyone from that list.

There was a time when this community really wanted Marion. Those days are gone. He has pretty much shot himself in the foot, and many people think of him as a cancer. Not just Blazers fans feel that way either.

Prince. Healthier than Wallace and needs the ball less than Butler.

If Miller was 5 years younger, he would be much higher on my list.

Amare is.....interesting......but not at the price the Suns would demand for a guy not well suited for our offense.

You mean like in Phoenix where he wanted out of a team that was on pace to win 50+ games? C'mon. I love the Matrix's talent, but he wanted out because he wanted to be more of a featured guy.

In any case he's a rent-a-player for half of a season and there is no guarantee he'd want to stick around, which makes trading anything besides Raef Lafrentz and cap ballast problematic.

No one wants him mainly because he bitches every year and thinks he's better than he actually is. Other than that he's a solid player in the same kind of mold that Gerald Wallace is, in that they don't need plays called for them to be effective. Prince fits the bill too.

    1.)Prince
    1a.)Wallace

Two defensive-minded SFs, either would improve the team immediately and shore up some of our big issues (perimeter defense and slashing ability). Prince is a slightly better defender, Wallace is a better slasher and more explosive. I actually prefer GWs game, but he is injured a bunch. Prince is an iron man, so I'd prefer him overall. If we could get Prince for any package not including Roy/Aldridge/Oden, we should do it without hesitation.

Pretty sure it ain't gonna happen, though...

PS; it will never happen in PDX, but a guy with a mean streak... RON ARTEST would really help this team on the court. Sometimes it seems like our team is so nice that they would rather be at home, baking snickerdoodles with their bros and practicing french kissing with their french kissing puppets, than play aggressive D.
