when? kobe said he was a stat padder? and only wants to break records....when was that.I may of missed that.
Great STATS once again by T-Mac 35 / 11 / 6, but once again the Magic lose. Unless T-Mac's on your fantasy b-ball league he ain't helping any team win. T-Mac shot 13-31. What's worse is his teammates didn't get a chance to produce. Mike Miller ONLY 7 shot attempts in 26 minutes Darrell Armstrong ONLY 7 shots in 35 minutes Pat Garrity ONLY 11 shots in 43 minutes Those 3 players combined had less shot attempts than T-Mac. All 3 are more than capable of scoring, but they aren't getting a chance.

Kobe is on a pretty crazy streak I agree, but really, what about the players that's been doing good day in and day out? I'm talking about Kevin Garnett. That guy is good even though he doesn't have a ring yet. His stats: 22.2 / 13 / 5.7 Kobe's : 29.2 / 7.1 / 6.6 Kobe is #1 in triple doubles (5) and Garnett is #2 with 3, However, Garnett is #1 in double doubles with 41 (out of 51 possible games) and Kobe is #12 with 20. Oh, and Kobe is also #3 in most TPG (Turnovers). At this point, nobody can touch Kobe obviously, but overall, KG is as good if not better than Kobe as an all around player. Him and Tmac actually but let's not go to another Tmac vs Kobe discussion..
i wouldnt say no on e can touch kobe. hes having a career year but hes still not one of the four or five players in the game. last year he wasnt in the top seven or eight. some of his competitition are ahving off years so he stand out that much more
olskool, I was referring at this point, as in, this month or week or whatever. Just for the short period of time that he's on fire, I'm not talking about the whole year.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting "olskoolFunktitude":</div><div class="quote_post">shaq is gettting them the dubyas. kobe was putting up big numbers at the beginning of hte year too.</div> It's the concept of TEAM that has the Lakers winning. T-Mac doesn't trust his teammates yet. Once he learns to do that the Magic will start winning.
If Lakers coach Phil Jackson is unhappy with Kobe Bryant's recent one-man scoring show, he has only himself to blame. Bryant is just following orders. "Phil gave me simple instructions," Bryant said Thursday. "He wanted me to put the ball in the hole. When he tells me that, I just try to do it to the best of my abilities." For a seventh game in a row, Bryant scored more than 35 points Wednesday, hitting a season-high 51 against Denver before leaving the game after the third quarter. In his previous games, he had scored 40, 38, 42, 35, 46 and 42, becoming the first to score as often over a similar stretch since Michael Jordan in 1988. "He's 'The Little Historical,'" Shaquille O'Neal said. "Why? Because he's little, he's playing well and making history." O'Neal, who has taken a back seat offensively the past seven games, sees no reason to change things. "Right now, he's in a zone, and when a guy is in a zone, you don't try and put wraps on him," O'Neal said.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting "Alley-oop":</div><div class="quote_post">At the moment he is good. But will it continue...</div> exactly he's just having a few good games. we've seen people like Pierce and AI have streaks like that but did they get anywhere? no.
His every game is really good, this streak is something great. All the great players who played for the Lakers...Jerry West,Wilt Chamberlain,Shaquille O Neal,Kareem Abdul Jabbar,Magic Johnson,James Worthy..etc Weel Jerry West is the only player who scored 40+ points 13 times in one season. Guees how many times Kobe scored 40+ points so far? 13 Like I said Kobe is great but I want this team to play better
Hes definetly a great scorer bu Id say from the look of the spurs game he should start trying to actualy start think not about his numbers but about whats going to get his team a win. 44 points is great. but on FORTY ONE SHOTS?? not to mention 7 turnovers!
