<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Franchise4Ever:</div><div class="quote_post"> Sorry Shiek but the Sonics as the best young team? Besides Lewis and Allen that team is....nothing.</div> Glad to hear that expert opinion about the Sonics. The Sonics averaged just under 103 points per game last season and considering that Allen and Lewis only combined for 45 points per game I find it hard to believe that the rest of the 58 points per game are being scored by a collection of nobodies. The most highly coveted free agent on the market right now is Chris Wilcox and his valued skyrocked when he put on a Sonics uniform. Not to mention that we have arguably the youngest, deepest, and more talented frontline in the league (along with being talented and deep in the backcourt) I'd like to think that management has put together a nice mix of players to compliment Allen and Lewis. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Shiek sorry again, but you are talking out your ass here. The only reason the Bulls bounced out each time was because they were young.....younger than the Sonics. Add on they were facing the Miami Heat and they gave the Heat a run for their money. A lot of you people talking and degrading Chicago probably have never seen them play, especially you Casual. </div> The Bulls lost in the playoffs two seasons ago to the Wizards. The Wizards had a young core just like the Bulls but what separated the two teams was that the Wizards had more consistent scoring. Last year's Bulls team was the seventh seed in the top heavy East. They didn't lose to the Heat b/c they were young, they lost to the Heat b/c the Heat was better--just like they would have lost to the other top 5 seeds in the playoffs last season. The Bulls have improved themselves substanially from last year this offseason but they still haven't addressed the fact that they do not have players that can consistently get off high percentage shots. B/c of that their scoring (especially in the playoffs) will never allow them to really separate themselves from teams with comparable (or better) talent. The Sonics have won more playoff series in the past two seasons as the Bulls have. They have won more division championships in the past two seasons than the Bulls have. They have had a better overall record (including playoffs) than the Bulls have had in the past two seasons. They have more players make the All-Star team than the Bulls in the past two seasons. And w/ the Bulls new acquisitions of PJ Brown, Ben Wallace, and Howard Eisley the Sonics are a younger team than the Bulls. Not to mention the fact that their roster is more balanced, deeper, and arguably more talented I can soundly make the argument that the Sonics have a great chance of improving dramatically from this past season. I can give you a detailed depiction of what I believe the Bulls strengths and weaknesses are but my argument was that I felt the Sonics will have the best young team in the league next season, not the Bulls. So before you criticize others for not having a clue about the current state of the Bulls just remember that you must have a clue about what you are talking about when you are trying to poke holes in other people's arguments.
i definetly say Chicago. they are fully equipped with young and energized players, who are almost like all stars.

The Heat were better and I'm not argueing that nor would any Bulls fan. You have to understand though, experience and maturity can play a big part in a playoff series. About the Wizards getting the Bulls out of the playoffs....Did you forget that Deng and Curry were suffering from injury problems? That was a huge blow, and the Bulls had everything going for them with 2 big wins in the beginning of the series. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Bulls have improved themselves substanially from last year this offseason but they still haven't addressed the fact that they do not have players that can consistently get off high percentage shots. They got almost everything else set in place except the low post scoring option but they are still a formidable team. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Sonics have won more playoff series in the past two seasons as the Bulls have. If you want to base your arguement like this I can say the Lakers will be the better team next season because of those reasons you stated. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">They have more players make the All-Star team than the Bulls in the past two seasons.</div> I hate, hate, hate, hate, HATE when people bring All-Star game appearances into arguements. THEY MEAN NOTHING. Its a popularity contest for goodness sake. People who deserve to be in it don't make it and people who don't even belong there are present. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">And w/ the Bulls new acquisitions of PJ Brown, Ben Wallace, and Howard Eisley the Sonics are a younger team than the Bulls..</div> Those are veterans brought in. To me they don't count as they aren't truly the "core" of the team. Nontheless 3 players don't make the Bulls an "old" team. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> Not to mention the fact that their roster is more balanced, deeper, and arguably more talented</div> Arguable at best. Not gonna get drawn into the whole " NO WE ARE BETTER " arguement here. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">I can soundly make the argument that the Sonics have a great chance of improving dramatically from this past season</div> And the Bulls don't? <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">I can give you a detailed depiction of what I believe the Bulls strengths and weaknesses are but my argument was that I felt the Sonics will have the best young team in the league next season, not the Bulls.</div> And I can do the same of the Sonics weaknesses and strengths. I think the Bulls will be a top young team next season. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">So before you criticize others for not having a clue about the current state of the Bulls just remember that you must have a clue about what you are talking about when you are trying to poke holes in other people's arguments.</div> And I did have a clue what I was talking about. The Sonics missed the playoffs last season, the bulls did not. With the additions for the better that they have made its safe to say they will only do better. You however are acting like the resigning and addition of players will change your 35-47 record from last season to something incredibly dominant.
I would like to say the Bobcats but I have to play it safe so the Bulls or Orlando. The Lakers could pop off at any minute also.
I think Toronto and Atlanta is full of young and talented players, I'm excited for both of the teams next year.
Philadelphia 76ers after what their rookies and Louis Williams did in the Rocky Mountain Revue, i think they impressed everyone in Philadelphia. They signed a lot of good rookies (Rodney Carney, Steven Smith, etc.). Korver and Igoudala both have experience and are still young players. If AI can give up the ball more and set up iggy, korver, and williams the sixers can take at least their division.
