I don't see how Chicago could regret this. They're much better than a decent team, and they've shown that with their recent play. Iverson is by no means a necessity to that team. He would come in and disrupt the chemistry they have and would most definitely hinder the development of their youth (Deng, Gordon, etc.). Beyond that, Chicago's only large contracts are Hinrich (who is pretty much untouchable), Brown (expiring), and Wallace, whom they won't trade after just signing him. The Bulls would have to trade off half their roster or get a few other teams involved just to make a deal like that work. The Bulls aren't in need of him. They have plenty of talent and they're showing that recently, and Iverson is not worth what they would have had to give up.

I think Minnesota missed out on the opportunity the most, but like already stated in the thread it was to hard for them to make a deal in the first place. The T-Wolves lacked the pieces required to make a deal, but maybe they could have tried harder to get another team to facilliate the trade. I think a KG-AI duo would have been better than the Melo-AI duo would be. Reason being is because KG is a superstar who can play both sides of the ball, and in the paint.
