4 games of that is better than none. In one of those games his stats were: 26 points 10 rebounds 4 steals 1 assist 10-17 FG 3-4 Ft 3-5 3FG and he had good defenders like pierce and eric williams guarding him
He only had those because magic had no one else..mcgrady did not play..neither did grant hill...so there is no good player to score...who cares what he did on 4 games..glenn robinson averaged 35 PPG after the first 4 games of the season...like that mattered... one more thing..pierce isn't a good defender
pierce is a good defensive player, ask jerry stackhouse . and mike miller, darrel armstrong, and pat garrity played in that game, all of which averaged double figures at the time.
why ask jerry stackhouse? those players you mentioned are bad...and they can't create their own offence without mcgrady..magic had no one else to score...but 4 games means nothing...as i mentioned with the big dog averaging 35 a game for the first 4 games of the season..pierce is an average defensive player at best...
darrel armstrong average 16 ppg in 2000 without mcgrady and when mike miller played for the magic this year he became more of a 1 on 1 player, and not alot of his points came off of mcgrady assists.
that was in 2000...armstrong isn't very good anymore...miller is very inconsistant and isn't a player you look too....but why the hell is this a topic...it was only 1 game...
armstrong still has good moves and can still score without help. and he averaged 15 ppg in 2001. ARMSTRONG IS STILL GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting "allnet":</div><div class="quote_post">He is old now...he has had a good career but is pretty much past it now...</div> yep, he ssucked this year. that was partly to his shoulder injury, but he still has the moves to create his own shots. he won't be that great, but if his shoulder heals than he should at least help tmac. darell is my favorite non star player.
