Don't say AI or Steve Blake because neither of those guys could set up the offense like Andre Miller could and this leaves Denver with a harder time getting baskets than they woudl with a PG. It is true that with offensive prowess in AI/Melo it is not hard for them to score but it would make it much easier. Let me also remind you that they do have the weapons to be good on the defensive end yet they don't. They have arguebely the best shot blocker in the NBA yet they are very weak at that part of the court which will stop them from winning a series against a team like Houston/Utah/Detroit. The team lives and dies on that jump shot.

Also Houston would defineteley not give more problems than Utah. Marcus Camby can bother Yao in the paint but what will he do the Mehmet Okur in the peremiter. That would stretch out Denver's already weak defense like crazy.

Your points are useless and make no sense. Your team has no depth, no support of the bench, and with one player fatigued, the game changes for them in a second. The Denver nuggets are not even close to being an elite team. Its not use to fill your roster with all stars and all star caliber players, and then leave the spots open with D leaguers. Your not going to win this arguement even if all of BBW were forced to agree with you. Your basing your facts on how you think playes will play, when really they are vastly inconsistent and would not be close to matching up to other teams like Houston, Jazz, and Detroit. And all together Serge, the Nuggets have one a total of 1 time against the Rockets, Jazz and Pistons combined. Case Closed.
Haha, when Cwebb and Rip are healthy the Pistons are better than Denver? sh*t, I think they're better even without CWebb and Rip healthy. I mean its crazy how Detroit pulled that game out, Rip and Webber not even at the game because of illness, Dale Davis was also sick, Flip Murray had a reported fever of 103 or something like that I believe, Lindsey Hunter was just coming off a suspension so 2/3 weeks without practice time and Detroit still pulled it out. No way Detroit should of won that game even if they were at home if Denver is as good as you say they are.

Why is there even a discussion about DENVER? They are a good team with 2 great players, but they are not a top 6 team, when everyone is healthy, in the West, so they should not be talked about as the 4th best in the league. They are 8th MAYBE.

Denver is better even with Pistons having Rip, and Webber.Denver played a hard game against Cavs before. And AI+Melo was pretty much out of the game they scored like 13 and 14 each or w/e it was not good just if they were not playing they were not doing anything except helping DET get more shots that game.

I would be surprised to see Denver take any of those teams, except maybe Utah because they are struggling, to even 7 games. You are a big time Iverson homer, I know... You are overrating Denver soooooo much. They are the Suns with a worse defense and a little bit worse offense too. Denver isn't that good at all, not NEAR the top 4. Houston and Detroit would beat them in 5.
This is just silly. Denver has a losing record in the last 2 months, they are the 7th seed, they lost to Detroit without 2 of their starters....there is no argument at all for Denver... stop being such an Iverson homer...the team is not that good.

Man Serge why are u even arguin this? Denver? 2nd tier? Man if you could read some of your posts. The Nuggets wouldn't be able to beat Utah, Rockets or The Pistons in a series. You're just sayin the same thing over and over. Now as 4 the 4th best team in the league.. not sure but it's between Utah, Houston and Detroit.
I agree with most on here. Denver definitely hasn't shown anything to be considered the 4th best team. Not even close.
