Eddie House, James Jones, and Brian Grant. 8 man rotation is good enough. If you watched the suns you would see many times they play better without Nash in stretches of a game. That shouldn't happen if you are the MVP or close to one. I changed my mind or Dirk being MVP though. I think it is Lebron since he means the most to his team.</div>Are you saying the Suns Bench is as good as the Mavericks bench?? Becuase if you aren't, your a hypercrite. Saying the Suns bench is deep enough to be ok without Nash, but the Mavericks bench isnt if Dirk isnt playing. I just dont see them being a playoff team without Nash, while the Mavericks are without Dirk. Bottom line, your not going to talk me into what your saying and I'm not going to change your mind. My MVP-Kobe Bryant,2nd- Nash3rd-LebronSo i guess i dont have anything else to say on the matter so i'm finished with this.

Re: Who's the MVP?? The mavs have a deep bench but they have no one near the level as Dirk. The suns second and third player are better than the mavs. I was comparing the suns bench this year to theirs last year. The suns last year depended on Nash more. This year they can run the offense more through Diaw and Barbosa.
Re: Who's the MVP?? Not sure if this was said already, but the only guy who basically had a not-so-good team and still won MVP was Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, I think, when he was on Milwaukee, I think...Look, this is why WINNERS win MVP...2005-2006: Steve Nash (61-21, 1st in NBA)2004-2005: Kevin Garnett (58-24, Western Conference Team)2003-2004: Tim Duncan (60-22, NBA Champions)2002-2003: Tim Duncan (58-24, Division Leaders)2001-2002: Allen Iverson (56-26, Eastern Conference Champions)2000-2001: Shaquille 'O Neal (67-15, NBA ChampionsNow, sports are never consistent, but that seems like a VERY consistent stat. These 6 MVP's have teams that averaged a total number of wins of 57-25, and Dallas finished 60-22.Now, tell me, if this stat is consistent, which makes more sense?2005-2006: Kobe Bryant (45-37, 11th Best Record/3rd in Division)OR...2005-2006: Dirk Nowitzki (60-22, 3rd Best NBA Record)???Don't be an idiot.
Re: Who's the MVP?? So what. By your logic we could give Jerry Stackhouse the MVP because he plays for a better team. Dirk clearly has the better team than Kobe.

Re: Who's the MVP?? Dude, what was wrong with my post? You haven't posted any stats to counter, so screw what you think.
Re: Who's the MVP?? I'm saying that Kobe is winning and making the playoffs with a mediocre team, while Dirk is doing the same with far more talent, so that point doesn't work.
Re: Who's the MVP?? ^ He has a point. Dirk has alot more talent around him then Kobe does. Kobe has done it all season with very little help.
Re: Who's the MVP?? Thank you. Yes, Dirk is winning more, but if you compare what the Lakers have without Kobe to what the Mavericks have without Dirk, it's pretty much expected that Dirk and the Mavs should have more wins.
Re: Who's the MVP?? Yeah that is obvious and the same is the case if the mavs have Dirk and the lakers have Kobe. Nothing changes in the difference between the teams.

Nothing changes in the difference between the teams.</div>The mavs have about 16 more wins with Dirk than the lakers have with Kobe. Without both of them the mavs will still be 16 games ahead of the Lakers. So Dirk shouldn't be punished for having a better team since they would be in trouble without Dirk.
Re: Who's the MVP?? These are such stupid arguments my lord, you guys make MVP debate into debating the theory of evolution my god.
Re: Who's the MVP?? Well I'm still not exactly sure what your point was, and I'm not saying he should be punished, but the bottom line is that I wouldn't take wins into the equation as in this instance they don't accurately potray the situation.
