I remember seeing the preview for Frequency and wanting to check it out. Thanks for the reminder. Designated Survivor and Timeless look interesting to me as well. Pitch has a a really high rating has anyone seen it?
I saw a preview and thought "So this is fox's newest original 1 year run time". Clearly I'm still salty that they cancelled Terra Nova.
I like it, and I enjoy the way they intersperse flashbacks to slowly build the backstory, but I'm not a fan of some of the secondary storylines they've apparently decided are necessary.
That cartoon block they play on Sundays is just abysmal and has been for years now. I can't believe they still trot out the corpses of the Simpsons and Family Guy year after year, and Bob's Burgers is okay but not worth watching. They always have a shitty Son of Zorn/ Napoleon Dynamite/ Allan Gregory show that gets canceled after 6 episodes. It's a shame King of the Hill is gone, although it was getting pretty meh like FG and the Simpsons at the end too.
They should fire the entire Simpsons team other than the voice talent and hire funny people to give it one more go. One year at a time.

This is us. Timeless. Designated Survivor. Frequency (CW). Westworld (HBO). Bull. This, to me, is one of the best years for new shows. Last year was the worst. We liked almost all the new dramas enough that we had to eliminate some because there just isn't enough time to watch them all. This is us was outstanding from the first show. I like Pitch for the music and for the hometown on TV.
I only watch House reruns. Lol. Well, and Impractical Jokers. THAT, is a funny ass show!..... (Just for you King-I will check out Bones too....)
This Is Us Designated Survivor ( I'm surprised ABC made a good show finally) Lethal weapon is good too, brings the vibe of the movies to the small screen Chance on Hulu...see Hugh Laurie play the opposite of house (it's bizarre)
I watched 3 episodes of Timeless and Frequency, and 4 episodes of Designated Survivor. I think Frequency is my favorite of the three. The show established its premise and right away and took off. I also really like the cast. I'm still confused as to what is happening on Timeless, but I'll probably watch a few more episodes before I decide weather to continue watching. Designated Survivor is the one I'll probably give up on first. I think the show has a great premise, but the writing is unsubtle and the acting is hammy.
Their choice for Mac is too much of a pretty boy. Even my wife agrees. Still, we're watching it, so maybe it doesn't bother her so much. I'm considering letting that and Bull be shows she's more than welcome to watch without me.
Just watched the last episode of Son of zorn. I am rethinking my original thoughts, the show is really stupid.
