    I think he's exactly the same type mold of an augman player. If you think Barton will get to a Rudy level; you will be disappointed

    Rudy was so smart with the ball. Huge BBIQ. He was just so slight of build. He took that one fall because of Ariza and he was never the same again.

    I don't think Barton has nearly the BBIQ that Rudy has.

    Augmon was known as the best defender in college basketball but not much of a scorer. Will is the opposite. Plus Barton has PG skills, whereas Augmon's handle was very shaky.

    Agreed, Rudy is likely a better player (and has better BBIQ) than Barton is likely to be, but their skillsets more nearly overlap than do Will's and Augmon's.

    I do agree that augman is definitely a much better defender; but there is just no way I see similarities between Rudy and Barton. Barton does have better handles than augman; but both of their frames are similar. Also Barton has just as much of a terrible shot as augman! ;)
