Again, I summarize the personal insult rule by telling people to attack the post but not the poster. Meaning to argue and/or debate what someone has posted but not them personally. Saying a post is shit is, IMO, different than saying someone is shit. Saying a post or opinion is shit invites them to defend their position. Saying that someone is shit only leads to further insults. You're asking for increased moderation to a degree that I'm not comfortable with. Wanting posts deleted that say things like the post is shit or racist is a slippery slope. Are you wanting the post deleted because of the word shit or racist was used or because they're disagreeing with you? Or should staff read beyond what was posted and infer other meanings? You didn't like that Dviss said, "read shit that Cippy says." So I changed it. But now you're claiming bias. What bias exactly? You think I'm not being equally shitty with everyone? Well, I would like to say I'm sorry that you feel that I am biased. As you can see I do take this serious and will try to do better.
He is talking about me. He is saying dviss was baiting cippy with his posts...including the above one and that I missed it because I am either biased or incompetant. When I read dvisss posts intially I saw no insults and didn't read them as baiting, just dviss happy that he doesnt have to read cippys posts. But, seeing how it was percieved as such I looked back and can see how it could be seen that way and maybe I should have edited it. Who knows.
We're not on the same page here. I'm not talking about dviss. Look there have been hundreds of "Your post is a complete moron" here for years. Then people like @MarAzul respond with direct insults. It happens all the time. I don't want to talk about @dviss1 behind his back (he hates that) but I want to use it as an example. Dviss loves his kid more than life itself. That's obvious to anyone who reads his posts. If dviss and I were in a tussle (often stirred up by me) and he used one of those "your post is a $$@€#" or whatever... And I being the asshole I am KNOW how much he loves his son that he'd push me off a cliff to save him from a sprained ankle......I said "I hope your post's son (has something bad happen to him)" I don't even want to say any specific thing because I don't want to speak it into the universe (never wish any ill will on a kid) I'm really going out on a limb here with Dviss because I know how sensitive he is about this and I admire that. No disrespect intended it is purely hypothetical. What I'm trying to say is that I could bait just about anyone and still follow the rules and it is just stupid. You would moderate things in the exact same way. All you would do is remove the ones where someone remembered to phrase it the way that skirts the rules. This ain't jeopardy and Alex Trebek ain't around. I'm talking about stuff like "your post is an illiterate moron" NOT "That's the dumbest thing I've ever read" I guess that is still a gray area but it should be pretty obvious.
If you're worried about an Asian guy posting an old movie clip that's on YouTube and not Infowars or something I think you're following Chipotle's lead. See that poor girl get fired right away for recognizing a dine and dash guy?
Very nice. @dviss1 he makes an excellent point. It would make the forum more enjoyable for everyone, even the arguments, if you didn't do that anymore.
I'm not singling him out. He's just the most obvious one to use as an example. Because he puts his life on here for all to see. I know really personal things about him. (Not something I advise by the way) HCP could have been the example...

I didn't complain about it. Read the threads. On one hand sly says trolling is allowed. Then today cc says he deletes baiting posts. Then he responds to your baiting post but doesn't delete it. This ain't about you.
So I went to the beach Sunday and Money. Holy hell, it was 60 degrees, sunny and no wind. Just gorgeous the entire time we were there. For the Oregon coast that would have been a fantastic day for June or July but the middle of November?!? Completely mind blowing.
