What is the reason players get a yellow card for taking off their shirt while celebrating?
is it because its deemed as time wasting or something?
it cant be indecent exposer, because players take their shirts off at the end of the game without problems, and when they come out on the pitch some players leave their shirt off untill there on the pitch.

i cant think of any other reason why it is deemed as an offence? does any one know?

Yup, time wasting. That's why excessive celbrating always gives you a yellow. But I find it dumb, emotions are important for the game, and that's what the 'injury' time is for.

Is it also banned in women soccer? If anything, I think taking off shirts should be encouraged there. [IMG]
