Don't get me wrong. We will try and make the playoffs every night, but it won't be a failure if we don't. We aren't expected by many of the professionals to even sniff the playoffs. We really have nothing to lose, IMO.
I agree that Fraizer needs to play some...Lillard is gonna burn out playing so many minutes...maybe CJ too...though I think once Henderson comes back CJ will see more time at the point then the two, leaving less time for Tim.
I also think Joe Jackson who was NBDL ROY deserves a chance. Saw him once in College, was very impressed
I didn't like Mo Cheeks from Day 1 Nate McMillan was the right coach at the right time, all things considered -- the first two years he was here. After that I wanted him gone (curse you Nathalie Gilbert). I was somewhat critical of Stotts for trying to turn LamarCooch into Dirk Nabitchky, but I have no problem with Stotts for where this team is at right now.
Coaching isn't the biggest problem for the team (although the lack of emphasis on defense is painful to watch at times). It's lack of experience and lack of a 3rd threat on offense. I love what Aminu and Amason bring to the Ablazers, but they need someone who can create better for themselves. Or at least be a bigger threat on offense.
Oh shit you're right. Curse her for Cheeks then. And curse McMillan for McMillan. Compared to those two you'll have to forgive me for still being relieved to have Stotts.
