I mean its stupid, if we drafted Donovan Mitchell he wouldn't beat out CJ or Dame anyway to "start" barring an injury (or a trade). Collins won't beat out Nurk to start, and it doesn't matter anyway. Our target was a big, he checked all the boxes. The article was just fucking stupid from top to bottom so I'm not giving him the benefit of the doubt on that little technicality.
Aminu at the 4 kind of made sense two years ago when Vonleh wasn't ready and we didn't really have any other viable alternatives. But, this isn't 2015 and Terry needs to realize that. He has other options at the 4. Vonleh isn't much on offense, but he can more than hold his own on the boards and on defense. Collins is our PFotF and Swanigan can play here for spot minutes. Our real need is at SF and that is Aminu's best, most natural position. Stop trying to out small ball teams like GSW and HOU. That only plays to their strengths. Us the assets you have to the best of their ability. Free Chief and move him back to a position of need. SF is his best position, and playing him there is our best option. Ive been saying it for a while now. For the love of God stop trying to play to our perceived weaknesses and start playing against the other teams weaknesses.
Yeah, I've dissed Aminu for his 3 point shooting, saying he should only shoot from the corner. So far this year he's done a good job of shutting me up. His ball handling is still a scary proposition, but at least he does it a lot less this year, so that's also an improvement.
LMAO. Of course you didn't watch the game. Who deserves minutes over Chief? Turner? No. Harkless? No. Swanigan? No. Connaughton? No. He's playing 40 minutes because he brings better rebounding, defense, and shooting than any of those other players. It's simple.

No he's not. That's a ridiculous statement. He literally bring the most undervalued things in basketball with rebounding and defense and has been killing it from 3. He's a 30+ min a game guy.
