You really should listen to bones here @Blazer4ever Bones has done a complete 180 on Aminu and that's for one reason alone. Aminu's on the court play. Portland doesn't have a better wing player on the roster than Aminu.
I don't mind Chief, he's a good player, seems like a nice person, but he's worth 15 minutes per and everyone should play their roles. He can be more effective playing 15 minutes, could make the team more effective. Need to improve decision making, play to everyone's strengthes, and that means taking them for what they're worth
You just need to stop posting. Aminu had a great game in MIA. He played better than any wing on the roster in the MIA game. If you want to find other players on other teams who are better than Aminu fine. But for a post to say Aminu should only be playing 15 minutes on this roster is an ignorant post that HCP should be allowed to flame.
Players should play the role they're best suited to play. When they do, their efficiency is better, the team is doing better, etc. It isn't a diss on anyone, if Harkless for example is better suited to coming of the bench, he needs to come of the bench, if he's worth 15 minutes, he shouldn't play 30, unless he has a really good game. Simple
Why do I always forget this is the guy who believes T-Rob is the goat. Using this guys logic, the only players on the Blazers roster who should play over 15mpg are Lillard & CJ. Wait Portland needs to max T-Rob and play him 40mpg.
Yup. He's minimized the things I had an issue with and hes improved the things he needed to. There's no question as to why he's playing.
Harkless is only effective when he has good players around him. So how is playing with he bench better for him? It's worse. And he's not good enough for either so he shouldn't be playing. Aminu isn't worth 15 minutes. All our best lineups (statistically) involve him on the court, so he should be playing a ton of minutes.
Ah no, because Aminu is a better player than T-Rob, honestly? T-Rob is doing great in Moscow, he's much more effective as a EuroLeague player than players like Freeland or Claver, plays on the same team with Alexey Shved
11.4 points, 7.8 Rebounds in 19.4 minutes per game https://www.basketball-reference.com/euro/players/thomas-robinson-1.html
Of course Aminu is a better player than TRob. That why he is playing in the NBA and Thomas Robinson isn't. Good for TRob. He found a league where he can be an effective bench player relying solely on his athleticism without requiring any skill. Unfortunately, the FT line is still 15 feet from the basket. Chief is shooting better from NBA 3-point range (.484) than TRob is from the FT line (.447). BNM
Or maybe NBA fans and in our case coaches and sometimes also managers etc don't understand much basketball
Or maybe the statistics master can explain to me how 11.4, 7.8 rebounds. 50+% fg in less than 20 minutes per game on average doesn't mean he's a better player than Aminu. And I'm not even sure Khimky Moscow doesn't beat the Blazers the way they're playing right now
Dude. ... NM. You don't watch the games. You don't listen to people who do... Seriously. Why do you post?
I would feel better about the world in general if I thought the OP was trolling us, but I'm pretty sure he is serious.
