I see no parallel to Cho.

As far as we actually know, Cho has never done anything constructive in a team-building sense.

He's certainly done nothing of value for the Blazers yet, and he's only got 2 more days.

I find it amusing that a poster can have a love affair with such shitty players like Maris does.

I've always kind of thought of him as a gimmick poster though.

I'm reserving judgement until after a deal is made.

    Maris,

This was a serious question. Which players would you target?

After many years, you'll become more efficient, too. I used to watch baseball, college football, college basketball, and national NBA games. I don't waste time on any of those now.

A compliment. Nongimmick posters are lazy and uncreative. That's show biz...

As for Cho, he has two days of my grace remaining. CHO, YOU DON'T WANT THAT TO HAPPEN. LOOK WHAT HAPPENED TO PRITCHARD.

True, I forgot those championships he led the Bulls to. Of course, he had a few good sidekicks. But so did Magic. And Magic had to start to do all his title-winning, whereas Kukoc was able to do it off the bench!

I guess they were pretty close all in all.

I think he's got longer than that, assuming you don't have inside information about him being fired.

If I start badmouthing him, he's as good as fired. He might as well start counting the days because Paul has shown that he admires my opinion.

Your problem is that you treat him as a serious poster. He isn't.

Kukoc had a decent NBA career. I'm not sure why you compared him to Magic Johnson. Kukoc was a 2nd-round pick. After Jordan and Pippen humiliated the poor guy in the '92 Olympics in the first game against Croatia, I don't think anyone thought Kukoc was going to be an MVP-caliber player in the NBA. That said, Kukoc was still a 20-PER player for the first two NBA championship teams he played on, and a 17.3 on the 3rd.

At least that's how I remember it.

    No question there.

Because he was called the "European Magic Johnson" prior to coming over to the NBA. I wasn't saying that people expected him to actually be as good as Magic Johnson in the NBA, nor was I actually criticizing Kukoc, I was simply making a joke that Khryapa got as close to becoming Scottie Pippen in Europe as Kukoc got to becoming Magic Johnson in America.

In other words, it wasn't intended as insight or analysis, just playing around.

I say the opposite is true of Harris lovers.

He's accomplished nothing, taken his teams nowhere, and left them hanging while he was injured every year since his rookie season.

I am pretty sure he was the starting PG of the team that went to the NBA finals and was screwed by the refs when they looked at D-Wade funny. You would not know that, however, since you do not watch NBA basketball unless the Blazers are playing - so it is understandable why you had no knowledge of that.

Ah, gotcha! You know too much about hoops to compare Khryapa to Kukoc, but I never can be too sure with you youngsters. :)

That is really funny coming from you. Ironic, too, since you seem to think that you were actually going to have some sort of serious debate with a loveable goofball like MARIS.

He wasn't, though. Jason Terry was the starter. Harris started 4 games in the regular season, and only 3 games in the Finals. Plus, Harris had an 11.7 PER during that playoff run. :)
