Plus, a bouncy ball (that can curve or change directions) is pretty hard to hit, especially when it's coming at high speeds. Next, they don't use gloves to catch a ball, they use bare hands to catch a ball that actually hurts when you catch it (except for the wickedkeeper who uses flat gloves if I'm correct). I don't like cricket and even though I do perfer baseball over it, cricket's not really as bad as you're making it sound .
Baseball is the most boringest sport to watch unless you're watching MLB playoffs. But imo, even though cricket is a long sport, it is still fun to watch. Like seeing players get out, or them scoring runs. I prefer cricket over baseball. But, Tennis and Baseball are fun to play, but boring to watch. I love playing cricket.

I've played it a couple times and I sucked pretty bad. Therefore I make fun of it, because I'm too lazy to learn how to play properly. What I don't like is how the games are like 3 months long.

It's probably the least bouncy ball in the sports world.
I hate test matches, I prefer one-days. EDIT: To phundamentalz, I think Chutney was talking about a tennis ball. Like in street crickets, you dont wanna get hurt so you use a tennis ball instead, but when you're playing on a field, or a real game, you playnig with a cock ball. But streets its tennis. Were you talking about Tennis ball chutney?

Why is NBA Basketball my favorite sport? Because it is the only sport of which I have been part of 3 championships and 4 NBA Finals. And this man below makes every game exciting, and worth the two plus hours
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">What I don't like is how the games are like 3 months long.</div> What exactly do you mean?
It`s hard to explain. I just love the non-stop action of the game, history, and just the smoothness of it all.
<div class="quote_poster">Swish15 Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Bow Wow put it best. "Basketball is my favorite sport. I love the way they dribble up and down the court." </div> I think you mean Kurtis Blow. Bow Wow just copied the song.
On the subject of cricket, it's a sick sport. Watching it is boring but playing it is a different thing, especially when batting. It's better than baseball because you don't have to wait a minute before every ball is bowled. Oh and the cricket ball doesn't bounce? Well check this.
Cause it's b-ball.....I love football and baseball also, but round ball was my first love...what I like most about it is the fact that you don't need great players at every position (like you do in football and baseball)...if you surround a great player with good role players, you're capable of winning a championship....I was just watching the Eagles and Saints game a while ago, and during the last drive all McNabb could do was look, because he wasn't on defense...you always have a chance to be involved in what goes on on the court in basketball.
I love it because kind of what The Dream was saying about Mcnabb sitting and watching. In basketball, everyone has to do everything to help your team win. Like when Hassell hits a big jumper i get insanely pumped (in a playoff game or close game). Also when a guy like Mccants makes a big defensive play. Everyone has to play d, score, rebound, etc.... It so cool unlike in baseball where half the pitchers don't even have to bat. And their are dh's that only hit, and pinch runners that are just fast.
The fast-paced action... The team work required. One's ability to dominate, constant scoring, amazing shots, buzzer-beaters, players going at it against each other, the unexpected to happen... Duncan makes NBA look boring though. <div class="quote_poster">Laker_fan Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">On the subject of cricket, it's a sick sport. Cricket can be as boring as golf on TV, but when you're playing - especially batting, its hella fun!
I used to think the same with Carter, that soccer is stupid and takes forever for a goal. But not anymore, after watching a few games, I got addicted and found it exciting because it requires a lot of skill.
