After Trump's CNN infomercial, a staffer issued a tweet criticizing him for focusing on the 2020 election instead of going forward, for blanket promise to pardon all January 6 defendants, and for being found liable for sexual assault and slander. DeSantis may have a better chance of beating Joe than Trump because he is younger, but he probably won't be able to take the nomination from Trump.
He might try to do it, but the difference when you're in charge of a state that is corrupt vs 50 individual states (where there is ZERO chance he'd win the popular vote), states can sue laws they don't like. The right does it, and seems to forget that the left can too. (granted, the left at times forgets that they can play dirty too).
