They are both wrong, period. One doesn't excuse the other, hold your politicians to a higher standard regardless of what the other side does. It's absolutely unacceptable to use death threats for any reason in a democracy, period.
Trump from the begining and still today spends every waking hour threatening Americans ..good americans..even his own closest supporters....he made more enemies within Washington DC than any previous president and is still at it..he threatened the republic...the last thing I'm worried about are his threats coming back to bite him...he's earned everyone of them....as to the whataboutism spin of Melania and Baron...Don Jr, Eric and Ivanka aren't 5 month old babies recieving threats. Nor does that 5month old Kinzinger baby have an armored car and CIA escort everywhere he goes....false fucking equivilance....the guy who wants America to become a dictatorship with martial law is a danger to all of us. I hope you are right, because the signs clearly seem to show he has some serious authoritarian tendencies in the vein of Hungary's president. If the guy does become President I will hope for the best like I did with Trump, but I am expecting the worst, like we got from Trump.
This is the fallback position of leftists on every Republican president: they’re all dictators or fascists who are a threat to democracy. It’s become such a banal accusation that it means nothing other than that you don’t like the person. The truth is, today’s Left has many of the hallmarks of a dictatorship. Democrats are the ones demanding that speakers they disagree with be de-platformed and silenced. Democrats are the “thought police” who are “cancelling” anyone who disagrees with their “woke” gospel. Democrats are the ones indoctrinating kids with the idea that whiteness is bad and blackness is good, just as German school kids were indictrinated with the idea that Jewishness was bad. And Democrats are the ones who resorted to violence and lawlessness in 2020 in an effort to force the laws they wanted on the country. In fact, those on the left are quite happy to use force and other non-democratic methods to get their agenda passed. In Biden’s first week in office he signed 37 executive orders, which was 33 more than Trump. Perhaps this is why the Left keeps screaming about Trump the fascist—they’re trying to distract us from their own authoritarian tendencies.

If “truth” was so important, the Left wouldn’t have cooked up the “Russia Hoax” and all their other lies about Trump (I’ll never forget the Russian prostitutes story propagated by the New York Times. That was a beauty.) The truth long ago took a back seat to destroying Trump at all costs.

I am not sure what you're referring to that is fabricated, the January 6th insurrection was lead by far right extremists such as Enrico Tarrio and the Proud Boys and was collaborating with multitudes of people within Trumps administration to coordinate an insurrection against the federal government. This happened, there's insurmountable evidence of this occurring, and it almost lead to a coup with multiple members of the then government being murdered. There are charges of sedition for Enrico Tarrio and a number of other coconspirators. Trying to claim that this didn't happen, or that BLM protests are equivalent is not only disingenuous and intellectually dishonest, but frankly dangerous. This is beyond political rhetoric and partisan politics, the American government was almost overthrown, there was almost a coup, and you are arguing in favor of supporting and protecting people who blatantly broke the law and were conspiring a coup and lead a violent seditious act against the American government. This is anti-American, it is dangerous, and certainly not patriotic, if you support these folks you are supporting anti-American traitors that are being prosecuted for sedition. A fabrication? The right forceablly entered and took over the capitol building to overthrow the government because they were butthurt Trump didn't win. While I don't agree with the burning of buildings and destruction that happened in 2020, most of which was at the hands of Antifa who pretended to be akin to BLM, it doesn't compare to trying to overthrow the government. The majority of the left were not laughing or applauding the burning of buildings or the violence. Everyone in here was for the many peaceful protests that occurred, but not for that. No one here downplayed or dismissed. Many of the people involved in the violence were jailed and rightfully so. The right though were laughing about January 6th and many still are. You want to downplay and dismiss an Anti-American coup attempt. That's pretty fucked up.

Trying to overthrow the government? What planet are you living on? Trump was the president on January 6, and they certainly weren’t trying to overthrow him. Not only that, none of the protestors were armed. You can’t overthrow a government by waving signs and wearing masks. This “insurrection” idea has been cooked up by the Left for political purposes, and everyone knows it. The hell they weren’t. To the left, BLM was a righteous cause, and their anger was justified. Democrats went along with the mayhem in the hopes that it would further their political agenda. What the right is laughing about is the hypocrisy of a political party that silently approves the burning and looting of American cities, and attacks on the police, for the entire summer of 2020, but goes apoplectic about a four-hour protest at the Capitol.
