Uh, the fact that you found the need to put her in that specific post. Let's start there.

    Really?

You all but spelled it out in the other thread. Your posts towards ABM have not been friendly...I understand why, but come on. You didn't make that thread to be nice to him.

He's getting burned enough in the threads he created. We dont need a flame war.

I get where you stand on it. Platy made a decision and I agree with it.

I get that. Just saying it was more preventative than anything.

I've already told you. It's a turd sandwich because you won't accept a mods decision, regardless of whether you agree with it, and move on.

My solution....don't reply to his posts. It's like arguing with a MAGA hat...at some point you realize it is just a MAGA hat...and mods use to lock threads that were not doing anything but feeding the flames of dislike. I've suggested locking that transphobic thread many times and sure enough....it chased away our most prominent trans forum member. Don't feed the troll and it will not find sustenance on a Blazer forum.

Grow up with technology? We invented high tech. I'm a baby boomer and I have degrees in Computer and Electrical Engineering and in Computer Science. My roommate graduated with me in engineering and was at one time one of the top memory chip designers in the world. Another friend is one of the very best software designers in Oregon. I was invited to get a professional engineering license in Manufacturing Engineering and I did have professional licenses in Electrical Engineering (EE) in Oregon and Washington. Intel, Texas Instruments and Microsoft were all begun by baby boomers. Another baby boomer I graduated was a member of a team that measured the effective mass of a photon more accurately than ever before. I could go on but I'm starting to brag.

I use facebook to stream my daughter’s team games to family and friends. Not sure what you guys are using it for to get so mad at it. I’ve never seen a political ad on my facebook stream to be honest.

Look, we're all equal/equal in here. The reason (again) why I posted it that way was that I felt @crandc would never consider engaging in a lap dance - especially with me. In effect, then, I was simply telling @SlyPokerCat that his buying me a lap dance would never happen - Ever. Period. End of story. That aside, I've been instructed many times here that strip clubs are purely for entertainment - that there's absolutely nothing wrong with them and should be looked upon as such. Hence, such a reference to crandc should be taken with levity, not seeming scorn. Right?

Besides, I tagged crandc more than once in this specific discussion. She's never had any problems addressing me directly - many times negatively - on a number of issues. If she were truly offended, I'm seeing no reason why she wouldn't simply tell me herself. And, if that were the case, I would apologize. That all said, it was never my intention to offend her in any way. I was simply trying to make a silly point with @SlyPokerCat, who has been churning the waters on this (Acropolis Club) discussion for who knows how long.

You making repeated comments about sex acts with one of the few female members of the forum is not acceptable.

It shouldn't take her to say something to you for you to stop.

    I'm telling you now, stop.

I've had several (from my point of view) innocuous or justified comments edited over the years. I'm still unclear what lines I crossed in pretty much every instance, but at the end of the day I figure it reflects more on the mods (or the snowflake who complained) than it does on me. It takes a lot for me to clutch my pearls. ABM can't help doing ABM, just like Trump can't help doing Trump. They're who they are. Professional victims who deliberately set themselves up to take the hit. Basically self fulfilling prophets......

Quit playing into a troll's hand SPC. The whole "never get into a stinking match with a skunk" applies here.....

Conservatives used to stand for something, they used to at least pretend to be the better, more hard working, and more principled group that would look down on those that had grievances or played victim. They used to believe you just needed to try harder, and pull yourself up by your bootstraps, and getting down in the mud and swearing or demeaning others was below them.

Now that is all they stand for, there’s no depths of depravity they won’t reach in order to “own the lib” even if it means being the most depraved, disgusting, and horrible person in the room. It’s odd because to me, the only person it owns is the person who is so depraved that they’ve humiliated themselves in order to “own the libs”.
