<div class="quote_poster">Karma Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Exactly my point He was already about to take off, you can't just stop yourself when your feet are about to leave the floor and you have momentum.</div> Agreed, to many of these ESPN guys are calling him an idiot for dunking after the whistle. Poor Tony.
He thought he could get a continuation, although that seems ridiculous in hindsight, and when he hit the rim, that was when it all went wrong. I don't think he had the intention of staying up that long. So when he came back down, he landed right on his heel. But the same thing happened to Doc back when he played with the Knicks, so I'm not about to worry about Tony's mental well-being, Doc's good for that. I hope this doesn't upend what was clearly turning out to be an impressive start to his NBA career.
tony was playing incredible ball, even though i've never seen an nba player who can't dribble think so much that he can, if you know what i'm saying. he's a turnover machine when he overdribbles, but he's so good at creating problems for the opposing defense, as well as offense. hopefully he can regain his explosiveness and come back to help this team win a championship
