    Exactly.

The ill-will directed at the mods here really puzzles me. If your standard is "we will only accept a mod we agree with 100% of the time", then you are doomed to disappointment.

See how I was right, Nate? Just post once a day in this thread and say, "Fuck you."

    Nothing wrong with Nate's posts.

    If I were mod:

    - all Minnesota IP's would be banned.

    - PapaG would've been banned years ago.

    - SlyPokerDog would be on indefinite suspension.

Putting Sly on an indefinite suspension? I don't think you can do that as an ordinary mod. That's an administrator duty.

How would you handle the whole BGD thing?

    How about them Spurs?

I bet Pau Gasol signs with them for next season.

Do you think he'll sign for around 9 mil per season?

    MLE.

He might sign with Memphis instead. To play with his brother. My bet is the Spurs. Perfect fit.

Listening to Tom Penn the other day, it's amazing the amount of money they have available to them.

Spurs would be much tougher if they land him for only the MLE.

I read somewhere today that MLE is all the Spurs have to offer.

Duncan opted in for next year, so that's $10M that might have been considered as cap space beforehand.

Yeah, they'll clear about 17 mil if next season is the last for Duncan and Manu.

No, I think they are 9 mil under the cap. I might have misheard.

They'll have about 8 to 9 mil in cap space according to hoopshype with the salary cap at 62 mil.

James Molina asks, “What do you make of the Spurs’ salary cap situation? Can we keep Boris and Patty and get a high quality free agent?”

Here’s a brief breakdown: They have 11 players under contract (including Aron Baynes’ $1.1 million qualifying offer). Including cap holds — the money attached to outgoing free agents Boris Diaw, Matt Bonner and Patty Mills — the Spurs’ payroll is $73.5 million, just $3.5 million below the luxury tax line.

I believe Tom Penn also said they had around 9 million during the NBA Draft
