That is just terrible Sly, Maris died at the age of 51 as the first victim in the steroid age. The world will miss such a brave man and pioneer but we don't need to be reminded he is gone. PS it is also terrible if that was a threat.

I don't think he overreacted, but I do think he baited and provoked PapaG into crossing a line. A line which, if I understood correctly, PapaG realized he had crossed. I didn't pay attention to the timeline, but it looked to me like he retracted and apologized for crossing the line right away.
