I've been gone 2 days (1 day because I spent 8-10 hours watching and reading about the draft), and I just finished this thread. Now I'll read the Aldridge thread that got him banned. This thread says that Nate provoked Papa in that thread. I'll read it, but for a couple of years it's been Papa provoking Nate. Nate, I suggest you just stay out of this thread. Except once a day, one post, just say 2 words: "Fuck you." That will answer your critics adequately. Notice the timing for another long ban thread. Its like, Olshey keeps asking Paul Allen, "Can I cut PapaG now?" And Denny says, "Wait till it makes me money. Ratings go down right after the draft."

I already know I'm on Nate's side, but I read many long articles every day just for the hell of it, so this is just another tenpin to knock over.
PapaG and a certain mod routinely trade barbs and wimpy personal attacks, the kind that could make a 5 year old girl cry. It's clearly an even battle, with both hitting below the belt and getting into histrionics and tantrum throwing. It's really no big deal (unless you're one of their family members reading their posts), and I just skip those posts when I see them. PapaG contributes a nice percentage of interesting and relevant threads, regardless of his opinions. Banning him because you personally as a certain mod can't seem to avoid entanglements with him would seem to indicate you're not ideal mod material. Maybe you'd do better as a bouncer at Stars?

This is the type of response that would spin PapaG up, and now you use this tactic on MarAzul..fortunately to no effect. There is absolutely zero reason to include the last sentence, unless you are deliberately trolling. This is a prime example of you making the discussion personal, and yet you rant on about when it is done in turn,

PapaG spins up every one of his own posts with sarcasm against posters. Why can't moderators post in the same style as posters? Why do they have to be angels and turn the other cheek? Speaking of my advice, when Nate checks into this thread with his daily 2-word post ("Fuck you"), you'll say, that provokes PapaG. Who cares? He's gone! Notice that this thread has more anti-Papa posters than pro?
